Guys after almost 3 years of heavy use, the strap on my Alma bb broke :( specifically the buckle part 😭 it sucks because I love wearing it cross body

should I try and have it fixed privately from someone or should I take it to LV? 🥲

Personally I would take it to LV, as otherwise you would affect the resale value.

Ugh that sucks! I would take it to LV just because they are the experts and they know their bags.

If not LV, The Restory in Harrods are really good! They do collection and delivery too

Definitely concur with everyone else. First stop LV. You bought the bag from them let them fix it.
Good luck ;)

Thanks so much ladies x

I’m just worried they’ll take my whole bag and not just the strap 😂 I love that bag 🥲 and my friend had her strap repaired and they took 5 months 😭

I had a full vachetta replacement and it took about 3 months as they sent the bag to France but it was also mid-covid lockdown. Id always use LV as first port of call though

Has anyone got their eye on any sunglasses atm? Sooo excited for sunnier weather 😍
What a great question! It’s gotta be Prada all the way for me! I love all of their tortoise shell designs. There’s something totally nonchalant about them!

How much did they charge you if you don’t mind me asking? ♥

It was £580 💀💀 but it’s a sac shopping which has vachetta strips down both sides and piping around the bottom piece, so they had to deconstruct the whole bag and put it all back together, which I presume contributes to the price!

I think you can just have certain bits changed but the SA never mentioned that to me, I probably wouldn’t have bothered changing the piping if it would’ve saved me a bit of money!

😮 yeah that’s very true! Mine is just a small buckle issue but it means I can’t use the long strap.

next time I’m in the LV store I’ll ask them about it

Yeah definitely, I couldn’t fault the service it was just more expensive than I thought!

I think changing handles on a speedy is around £280 and neverfull is less than that, so I wouldn’t think a buckle would be too bad! Let us know when you get in to ask 😊

I've never even heard of "Teddy Blake" lol so went off to research. They look... cheap. You can't just slap the word "luxury" on everything and think that makes you an actual luxury/designer brand
