Hi everyone, does anyone have any good recommendations for a gym/work bag? I'm a Pilates teacher and at the moment I use a leather handbag I bought for about £250 that has lasted well, but I want something a little more premium. It's a weird one because it's a bit of a workhorse in a slightly 'sweaty' (!!) environment but I don't like looking too gym-y, and enjoy more premium stuff when I'm not at work. I thought about one of the Le Pilage totes that others have recommended previously, but does anyone else have any ideas? Thanks in advance xx
Yeah I use my LV neverfull for the gym a lot, easily holds my spin shoes, towel, water bottle etc xx

Maybe an LV neverfull?
I thought about it but it's quite floppy and I haul around lots of dull work things like cables for useless gym stereos and back-up exercise bands. I imagined all of that spilling out a neverfull like a wire-spaghetti mess!

I use my Neverfull for the gym and I got an insert for this reason, it's absolutely fab. This is the one I have:

Oh gosh ladies you are so good at organising me - thank you so much. How did I never think about an insert!?

I don’t have an insert because I felt it would limit the space but I use pouches for loose stuff like cables

This is worth considering, it does limit the space and in some ways makes the bag bulkier if you're not filling the insert up (because it's square so it holds the bag open even when it's not full) but it can be taken out as well and pouches are a great idea, didn't even think of that

I don’t use LV ones or anything fancy just a matching black set I think I got from TK Max of 4 different sizes 👍🏼

You can also get inserts with a zip top which adds a bit of security, but I’ve only seen them on the LV Facebook groups as more bespoke ones so might be a little more money than the one above (but like £30/40).

Actually just googling I’d forgotten the bespoke ones you have all sorts of combos put in so like a drink bottle holder, keychain.
Try Handbag Angels and Papillonkia as a starting point.

I wouldn’t recommend papillonkia personally. But there’s always Mono liners and Samorga, which are the original.

Otherwise there’s always the keepall? Although that may be a bit too gym-y for you.
Yes I think you're right - bit too gym-y for me. It's ironic really but because I'm always in the gym I want something as non-exercisey as possible! There's a real lack of options in this rather niche category I think.

I think you’re right about the lack of options! All I can really think of is a tote, unless you’re a backpack girl? Gucci do some cute ones

I personally would never spend this on a gym bag but if it’s your job and using every day this would be nice I think

Oooh that is a very good shout, what a lovely bag. You're right - normally I'd not spend this much on a gym bag, but for me it's an everyday work bag and I hate looking too overtly sporty. I think stuff from Lululemon and Sweaty Betty is a complete rip off - always close to £150 for really cheap, poorly designed nylon crap. I'd far rather have a 'proper' bag that lasts a lot longer and is more versatile, and more enjoyable to use.
