I'm debating London tomorrow before Boris ruins our lives again lol

How busy do we think it's gonna be..... I wanna go Selfridges/Harrods etc

So much they can’t develop because of listed buildings and the like and the obvious closures like Debenhams and Arcadia group. Then leeds did a massive overhaul of its centre with the Trinity centre and Victoria Gate/John Lewis so it suffered even more. There’s lots of nice one off gift typey shops and Betty’s cake store/cafe.

well glad I asked because I would have been sorely disappointed 😂 we’re gonna stop at either Leeds or Manchester on the way for an hour or so then onto york where we’re staying and have a browse of their shops with very low expectations haha!

i got the baby pink - a little Marmite I know but I like pink (not in a Barbie way🤣). It will look fab in summer but also I had black on yesterday when I tried it on which went really well. I’d love the Balmain leather blazer in my dreams. That ended up heavily discounted in Selfridges last year and I missed out😫

My friend and I got there just after Selfridges and HN opened and it was no way as busy as usual. Perhaps Covid/Sunday hours had kept people away.

I’ve got the leather blazer! I hardly ever wear it though…..Now you’ve made me think about it I might make one of my New Years resolutions to wear it more.

Oh I’m jealous!!!! It’s a beaut. Good idea, Bev. If you ever want to sell it let me know😜 I stalk them on Vestiaire and they’re nearly all BNWT.

I’ve got the navy one which is a classic but in the last couple of years hasn't had much attention either😕.

Has anyone used Flannels online before? What’s your opinion? I have a friends discount to use but I’ve never used it before. I’m worried I’m going to get scammed even though I’ve been in the shop and know it’s not fake 😅 I’ve seen some really good sale items but their pictures don’t look as good as they do on the designer websites. Help 😅

I have used it recently despite my thoughts on them. Their postage is expensive and kills me but it was extremely prompt (as it should be for the price). Their customer service is crap though, premium phone number and they don’t answer emails. We had to return a pair of trainers as they were marked as if they’d been tried on but there was no issue, the replacement was perfect.

The website is a bit naff but I’ve never considered that they might sell fakes…I highly doubt it. I’ve added about a million things to my wish list from the sale today. Gonna pour a wine now and decide what I want to buy 🙈

I’ve used flannels online, I bought some Jimmy choos last year. The postage was expensive but they were on time and heels were perfect x

Braved Manchester today, nowhere near as busy as I expected. Got a ysl mini wallet £100 off from selfridges which I’m very happy about. Sales wise there wasn’t much there that caught my eye, givenchy did have a couple of bags with big discounts. Shoes wise there must have been about 50 pairs of McQueen trainers discounted but I’d definitely say more teenager style, think all over pink sequins. Couldn’t get into Chanel, appt only again and I could see they had a few pairs of dad sandals on display which I’d love for the summer 🙄 does anyone know how you even go about getting an appointment? Could have bought about 10 bags in saint laurent everything in there was just so nice

How much is the discount and what are you buying? What would put me off using them is the lack of after sales compared to buying from the brand.

You’re supposed to be able to book Chanel appointments online but it never worked for me. Sorry that’s not much help lol

yeah I had a look online when I was there but couldn’t get it to work and just gave up in the end! Bit of a farce really 😅 why do they make it so difficult??
