And to think I was hesitant to spend £3.5K on my classic flap. There’s no way I’d buy one now not even because I don’t have that kind of money but I don’t think I could justify it anymore.
I have one and it’s fine, can’t say anything bad about it. I just prefer my other coats due to liking them to be longer so I don’t wear my Levi one too often. I usually wear it if I’m going out somewhere nicer than every day but not somewhere ‘out out’ since it’s the coat that looks the best that for that out of the ones I haveNot sure if it counts as designer but does any one hear have opinions on the levis brand not just the jeans but coats etc … I have my eye on two nice coats but not sure never bought from Levi befotr
I can’t decide whether to venture into Birmingham to visit selfridges or not… I’m a bit reluctant as I can imagine with Sunday opening hours things may be a lot busierMerry Christmas to those celebrating! Hope you have a fab day if you do celebrate or you don’t. Anyone braving the sales tomorrow? Even though they started last week![]()
Thank you for responding - I was thinking of the mini initially as I wanted a work bag but tbh even then I just carry the essentials. I'm only 5'1 and I think the mini looks so big on me so I've settled on the micro. I've ordered it online so hopefully it should arrive before NYDepends what you want it for? I’ve got the micro and I love it perfect size for me I use it as a day bag and comfortably fit everything i need in including a large wallet, keys, make up, perfume, small umbrella, sunglasses….I’ve said on here before it’s llike a tardisIt’s a bit of a pain to open and close sometimes but other than that I can’t think of any negatives.
I'm 5'1 too and bought micro last month. It's just the right size for my height and the things I have to carry. Had my eyes set on the black but I tried on both black and grey in the shop and decided on the grey. I'd love to know as well! I didn't get anything today but picked up a Toteme wool scarf from the NAP sale a few days before Christmas.Had anyone managed to get any bargains in the sales?
Strap length is just right for me. I mainly use the top handle though!Thank you so muchI already have a black bag so decided on the dark grey. How do you find the strap? It sits a bit lower than I’d like so Im considering buying a leather strap on Etsy in the same colour
There isn’t really much designer in york city centre really. York city centre was really poor last time I was there. It’s nice for one off shops but designer and high end it’s lacking. You’d be better off in leeds tbhI’m going to york city centre tomorrow, never been before, does anyone know where’s best to shop? Both designer and high street?![]()
ah really, I’ve never been before and because it’s a city centre thought it might be a bit decentThere isn’t really much designer in york city centre really. The only designer store is a mulberry factory shop(assuming it hasn’t closed) and there’s the “designer outlet” but a lot of that is high street and some home stuff. They did have mulberry, Micheal Korrs and ugg. It’s probably worth looking at there website as it might’ve improved since I was last there.
Yeah unfortunately York’s city centre has really suffered the last ten or so years. So much they can’t develop because of listed buildings and the like and the obvious closures like Debenhams and Arcadia group. Then leeds did a massive overhaul of its centre with the Trinity centre and Victoria Gate/John Lewis so it suffered even more. There’s lots of nice one off gift typey shops and Betty’s cake store/cafe.ah really, I’ve never been before and because it’s a city centre thought it might be a bit decentnot looking for anything in particular but was hoping to find somewhere good to browse the sales! Thanks, I’ll have a look online see what it’s saying!
