Same I’m not a fan of off white but he was incredible. It’s so devastating he had a young family. I did read he had cancer and not long left but I didn’t believe it for a second. Cancer is the pure evil and will take anyone 😔.

What's everyone's thoughts on Mulberry? My sister has a big birthday next year and has been hinting at a Bayswater which I was gonna split with my parents but one of the girls at work reckons the quality is quite poor these days. I've got an Alexa from years ago which still looks great but I'm not knowledgable at all so advice appreciated!

I’ve seen others complain about them in recent years but, personally I’ve never had any issues. I got my last one last year and it still looks new now!

Honestly I don’t think they’re that great for the price now. I was considering one of their new mini alexas, but the thought of paying 1k for a bag made in China. Mulberry also don’t seem to keep their value now.

Agree with the other two! Lots say the quality has gone downhill but I have had no issues with my Mulberry’s. Then again, I never had any of the old leathers so can’t really compare.

They def don’t hold their value but if it’s a gift she might not want to re-sell any way?

Also a word of warning.. I have always really wanted a Bayswater but the new ones are SO HEAVY and bulky it makes them really difficult to carry and so puts me off. Has she ever tried one in real life?

That's good to know, I was a bit worried as I've seen a few people warning against Mulberry which is a shame as I've always liked their bags. That's also a good point on trying in real life so I'll give her a heads up! I thought the same about the Bayswater, they are quite large.

I have an original Alexa from when they first came out and I wore Mine to death it still looks great. It’s a bag I won’t be able to part with. I haven’t bought anything from Mulbery in a years but my friend bought a lily bag not too long ago and personally the quality that once was just isn’t there no more. The clasp is already starting to tarnish. My Alexas headwear is in such good condition to say how old it is👵🏻. Wouldn’t she like a Louis Vuitton? Classic and timeless.

Agreed with the comments above on Mulberry, the quality just isn’t there for the price.

My older lily vs my friends newer one there is a noticeable difference.

If she’d consider preloved though you can pick up a Bays for a reasonable amount, or try the outlet stores.

I’d love to add to my Chanel collection with a few more bags, they’re just so expensive now though, I’m into the smaller bags (like everyone) and this caught my eye yesterday! I love it but a) will have to wait until I get my bonus in a few months and b) they’re probably out of stock everywhere anyway🙄

Talking of Chanel - have you seen the Advent calendar 😱

Does anyone have the Gucci marmont super mini? I know the marmont trend may be a bit ‘over’ now but I love how cute the super mini is!

Has anyone any advice on a Chanel cardholder / small purse? Would the lambs leather wear well or does it scratch easily? Want one for general day to day use so would need to be kinda durable!
Have a caviar Prada mini wallet at moment and it's worn so well.
