After some Christmas present advice if possible please, seems like everyone knows their tit here ☺. I do already have a bit of a handbag collection but no chanel yet. Was waiting until my 30th for my first but apparently a mini flap is within budget this year for my hubby haha, but is it going to be impossible to get hold of? Or do I wait until my 30th (2 1/2 years away) and get a small classic flap instead of the mini? And then for this Christmas I’ve been looking at the fendi mon Tresors, does anyone have any experience with those? I don’t have a fendi yet but worried they’re more of a summer outfit only bag?

Not too clued up on Fendi, I don’t own any of their bags, but I will say that mini flaps are extremely hard to get hold of right now. They weren’t included in the recent price increase and they’re one of the few “affordable” Chanel bags left. But I will say, who knows the price of the small classic flap in 2.5 years…at the rate Chanel is going, I assume it’ll be extortionate. Ideally, I would advise going for the small classic flap now if you can because the prices are already insane, let alone in over 2 years time. If not, try your best to hunt down a mini flap!

Thank you!! My thoughts exactly waiting the 2.5 years with the price increases 😖 is a small classic flap as hard to get hold of as the mini atm? X

it’s kind of difficult, especially in black caviar with gold hardware. Depends on what exactly you’d like? But not as hard as finding the mini flap! (Again in gold hardware, black lambskin it’s the hardest, in seasonal colours and silver hardware it may be easier)

Black lambskin, gold hardware ideally 🥲😅 I suppose it will make it that bit more special if I do ever get hold of one! I did browse pre loved but no real luck there either or they were more expensive than new!! But I guess this is why! X

Not designer wear really, just beauty. Got 25% off Hourglass (and most things) at Space NK whereas Hourglass themselves are only doing 20%. Look fantastic is up to 40% too. Just got presents but no designer bargains for me. I wanted some McQueen trainers and ended up paying full price as nowhere discounted had my size 😵‍💫

Me too. Nothing nice was included in the sales!
I just ended up getting bits of make up, like urban decay palettes were going for half price so got one as a gift. And Charlotte Tilbury mystery boxes were going for half price as well.

Absolute rit. The stuff that most places included was like the stuff that’s left at the end of the sales. I did well with discounts in general for Christmas presents and some home stuff but designer stuff for myself nada.

Guys I’m so devastated with the weather today 😭😭 today was the only chance I’ve got to go to Manchester until the week before Christmas 😭😭. I can’t drive in the snow and don’t want to get stranded. I was so looking forward to hopefully getting a new bag and a few special Christmas treats for family 😭.

Won’t fit a purse so might need to use a card holder! Can fit my phone in (iPhone 12) and also the small tube of Carmex and a pair of glasses without the case and some keys but that’s about it!! Will have to do a lot of shuffling about it’s quite a squeeze
