Medical professionals aren't really fans of that placenta encapsulation anyway. Iv seen a few midwifes and doctors I follow fairly against it and that's without covid in the mix.
While it does provide nutritional value to the baby, it also removes waste. That can’t be healthy to consume!!
Glad she had a safe delivery and I hope they’re both doing well ❤ I think boy, I’d say they knew because the pram she got is navy? Could be wrong though!

I'm glad the baby is here and safe. This whole thing really isn't sitting well with me. It's being sold to us as Brave Denise breaking the stigma about covid in pregnancy and labour, but her not attempting to protect herself and all and then the stories during induction while doing her hair and face smacks to me of minimising the situation and making it seem like it's not that big a deal if you get covid in late pregnancy. I just don't think it's a great message.

I also recently miscarried in hospital by myself after IVF so maybe I'm being sensitive but none of this seems right to me.

The worry about this is that it vindicates her actions and irresponsibility. I'm genuinely delighted that baby is safe but that doesn't mean she was right to take as little care as she did, only that she was lucky. My worry about her high profile perfect covid birth is that it could make other people act similarly with her held up as worse case scenario. It's far from it. If she'd caught covid at 30 weeks before it was safe to induce this story might have had a very different ending. I hope she uses her platform not just to blow more smoke and bubbles about positivity and manifesting, but to state that she took silly risks and was very lucky to not pay a high price.

It actually makes me so sad and frustrated !! Why is none of this being address by people!! The bad misleading information and her know all attitude!! I had a miscarriage on my own in hospital a few weeks ago my husband wasn’t aloud in to support me because of the likes of denise and danni the mammy out living there best lives mixing with everyone, everywhere and keeping cases up and restrictions in place!! But once it hits her life she is all over social media expecting sympathy and attention!! She didn’t give a duck when it didn’t effect her personally now she is racking up the followers who will be drawn into her false information and bullshit!! Please lit a candle no one lit a candle for me when I was on my own losing my baby!! She is incredibly self centred and insensitive!! Girl read a few books and now think she is the all know guru of everything always talking about staying in her lane yet thinks she is the next coming of Jesus and the spiritual guru the world so desperately needs right now!! Her ego is frightening!! Better off Sticking to hair rather than giving advice about stuff she knows nothing about!! Obviously I hope all is ok for her and baby but it’s so disrespectful and hurtful to see her carry on the way she is right now!! I never in my life posted about another person and feel bad for even doing it but this is unreal and so wrong!!
Im so sorry for your loss , I’ve been there and it’s soul destroying it I wasn’t alone so I can’t begin to imagine what you went through 💔 thinking of you x

I don’t think she knew. The Pram is unisex as is the nursery & she had a mix of boy/girl clothes. I think she said she has a couple of people she can pass on the things she doesn’t need

Don’t think I’d like the idea of popping pills from my covid placenta, how does that work If the placenta is infected?
Did she mention placenta encapsulation? Must have missed that

So sorry for your loss - you aren’t being sensitive though. I don’t think the way Denise is portraying this is appropriate at all

no there was a placenta encapsulation kit beside her bag
Ah right - god with everything else that’s going on you’d think she’d leave that go. Not to mention the covid risk - there’ll be no studies yet on the effect of covid on the placenta tablets

Anyone else find this extremely condescending?
From the woman who was giving out about people saying “miracles happen” & that it drove her mad and made her angry.
She is the all knowing all seeing eye now 🙄

No offence to anyone but I think placenta tablets are horse 💩. It’s not something supported by lactation consultants for one, I reckon it’s like a placebo effect probably nothing in the tablets 🙄 it also can affect your milk supply if BF

I completely agree and on my last I had 1st time mums tell me how great they were, felt themselves and no PND...how did they know? They hadn't experienced birth and a newborn before?
