The last thing I want to do is defend her because I am one MILLION percent against people getting puppies in lockdown (in most scenarios). But the odd hour at daycare once or twice a week is a great thing for them to learn how to act around other dogs, and could prevent a lot of issues with them as they get older.

I do wonder if she dumps them in a boarding kennel environment (like the place I worked at as a teenager, where they're all left to do their own thing without dogs they dont know ... ) or something that is more like a home boarder where they'll get plenty of individual staff attention and spend time with other dogs. I hope its the second.

However, I am 100% against dumping them there every single day for multiple hours like she seems to be doing.
I got a puppy during lockdown, in November. I think you’ve got to be careful not to tar everyone with the same brush. We had always planned to get a second dog, our other is 6 now and has always loved the company of other dogs. We took veterinary advice (I work in animal welfare, so spoke to some of our vets) and researched breeds based on good health and suitability, not because I like how a certain breed looks. We use a doggy daycare once a week, they have a full day there (oldest has gone for years and pup was on half days until this week) where they social with other dogs, and are watched constantly, but this is 100% a good idea.
When it’s been safe and legal I have rented a secure field to socialise pup with friends pup to help them develop. We also take them to a built up area for Walks a couple of times a week so pup meets other dogs/people. (I live very rural)
Not everyone deciding to get a puppy is a total idiot and rehoming waiting to happen.

the things you should be critiquing are;

using dogs for content
Not getting puppies during a pandemic but getting them before they were prepared in the house.
Picking a breed purely for ‘aesthetic’ reasons.
Locking them in a room all day and night alone
Not toilet training
Using a spray bottle on them
Feeding them a terrible diet
Not walking them several times a day like they need
Giving treats when they jump up and rewarding poor behaviour
Not walking and training them separately

the daycare is actually about the only thing she’s done right.

For any new members wondering about this, heres demis comments, she was caught out after printscreening her tweet and it said "view tweet activity" on it which only she can view. She then came on here under her actual name and said her brother actually wrote all of these.
And Demi blaming her brother also happened to come just after we mentioned IP addresses

Ah jeepers this is hard, imagine having to watch your uploads like a hawk and delete anything that mentions this situation. This isn't healthy, just come out with it ffs girl, you can't go on like this.
I really mean this, what a way to live.

Does anyone remember a week or so ago Demi posted a little round-up of all of her 'fave' people to follow (basically seemed like other influencers that she wants to suck up to...) and maybe I'm just out of touch but I'd never seen or heard of any of them in my life. I'm not shocked by that, as I know theres definitely tiers of 'influencers' which vary in numbers of followers etc and she probably relates closest to the ones on a similar level to her and aspires to be just above (we know she loves Elle Darby but tbh i think she realises she'll never get there...)

I don't really keep up with that type of ✨ content creator✨ and most people i still do follow, i've just followed for years but tbh i was quite shocked by just how 💁‍♀️generic💁‍♀️ all of the people she posted were. White, young, slim, conventionally attractive women - likely upper working class upbringing but obviously earning a few bob now and flaunting it - much like doodles. I'm generalising here and massively judging books by covers and the image that they were trying to project.

Demi keeps teetering on the brink of understanding Body Positivity and trying to be ✨woke✨ but seems to idolise people who already embody traditional beauty standards and really doesn't seem to see much diverse representation. She mainly just seems so desperate to be like the people she posted.

I really dislike Demi, quite possibly one of the worst Youtubers ever. The girl looks like she could do with a good scrub with some Dettol and a wire brush.

Mrs vegan, throwing out all that wastage that will go straight into landfill and destroy the planet, all the plastic packaging and honestly I can't be doing with hearing "accidentally vegan" any more, that's all she eats, demi doodles needs to learn how to cook! The shopping bill is £170 cause all they eat is pre packaged foods, neither of them can cook or know how to be an adult...

Haven't watched, don't intend to. I think people are missing the point over the shopping bill total. Its clear she goes for convenience foods which will drive the bill up and she's lazy and she can't cook.
But to me its more than that, its look how much I've spent, look what I can afford, look at the money I have. I also didn't watch the house buying video, again I don't intend to, but it was the same, it wasn't meant to be tips on how people can get on the property ladder, it was look at me and all my money.
This notion of her having money and stuff is what I believe shes getting at, probably stemming from her background. Demi wants admiration badly and having "money" will probably achieve that from a certain section of the community.

I've also consumed alot of substances in my time but I don't believe Demi was on anything, she was slimmer back when she was a teenager like most of us are and our pupils dilate for many reasons which aren't just being under the influence of drugs.
I don't imagine she's ever even been around drugs tbh she seems like she would be very snobby about party favours 🤣

I just don't understand why she can't make more of an effort with her videos! So many youtubers very clearly take the time to set up a background and make themselves look good. She literally looks like she rolls out of bed on to the floor and presses record. She goes on about money and how much she makes yet it doesn't reflect in her appearance or the effort she puts in.
I get that she's trying to be 'relatable' 'attainable' and 'realistic' and I'm not one for putting makeup and dolling up everyday but you believe if that was my full time job and I had income coming from it I would put the time in when filming.
Why do brands accept these videos?! She's even swearing in the right move one!

I was shocked to see how much they had to 'declutter' from their fridge and it's clearly because they go shopping with no plan whatsoever. I plan 5 meals for the week and cook multiple portions to re-heat as 'leftovers' when needed and it comes in at much much less than their weekly shops have.

Demi, I know you read here so please get yourself a copy of The Green Roasting Tin by Rukmini Iyer. It's easy vegan and veggie (easily substitutable to make vegan) one-tin recipes. It's not that Sean doesn't like dinners, its that he doesn't like rank overcooked veggies steeped in gravy. I would genuinely like to see them make something from scratch from a cookbook together.
I hope they didn’t throw all of their ‘old’ food out, looked like so much was wasted and a waste of money! How can she justify £170 A WEEK!!? Just because it’s ‘vegan’ it doesn’t make it healthy like she thinks, so much processed food.

I feel sorry for her brother. I actually think it would have been better for him to not find out that his sister threw him under the bus to try and save herself. Imagine knowing that someone in your own family let people think you made an account on a gossip site to bitch about their friends and talk about their tits.
I can’t imagine it, I think this is the worst thing about this whole thing. Her brother probably admires her. He helped with her house decorating, bought her that present at Xmas saying best sister or whatever and he looks so bloody young. It’s so awful it’s a true betrayal of that lads trust at such a young and fragile age.

I probably feel so strongly because I have a brother of the same age. I would do anything to keep him protected and safe from the internet if I was a public figure.

Are we supposed to believe that stir fry in the pan is the same as that Chinese takeaway on her lap!? With bread too!? 😳
