Tbf as well, when that video came out, I remember people saying it could have been anyone in that area, the clothes was a typical outfit anyone could have worn etc.

I'm desperate to look into what happened at the hearings last week but i don't have time to go through all the documents. Does anyone have any recommendations of a podcast etc. That will be neutral?? I'm thinking the murder sheet?? Any recommendations would be amazing!

The murder sheet has 3 episodes one per day, really good as they were in court but they are quite long.
The thing though is he is really small for a guy 5ft4, if only they had picked this up when looking for him as sure there couldn’t be too many males in Delphi that short fitting the description.
In one of his apparent confessions he said he killed them with a box cutter and apparently this would fit in with how they were killed.

I just want those poor kids and their families to get justice. This has dragged on for so long it must be unbearable for them. Libbys grandmother used to post ‘today is the day’ every day on social media before they made their arrest. I can’t imagine how it must feel to think they finally have him and then have to wait so long for the trial.

I have always wanted the girls to get justice and it seemed like such a solvable case but honestly I think it's been completely and utterly ducked up.

From what I understand the judge basically tried to fire the defence team because aomeone broke into their offices and passed evidence to the media. The defence lawyers have tired to get the judge removed on a number of occasions. The defence team are acting probono.

Regarding the confessions they are saying RAs mental health was in decline due to poor treatment in the jail and this evidence should be excluded because it was false confession.

This judge is very anti the defence lawyers so I could see a mistral being declared if he is convicted and appeals.

So they are allowing the Confessions to be heard in trial now, I can see him changing his plea before trail now.
But maybe only if he gets a plea deal taking death sentence off the table, if prosecution agree to it?

Confessions are in but odinism and their defence is not.
They clearly did not make a very convincing argument that some other dude did it.

I think the trial will be delayed again now!

I've admittedly not been keeping up with this case as there has been so much going on but from what I have heard and watched from legal commentators the judge has been quite anti-defence the whole trial. I need to watch Lawyer Lee's coverage as I think she has the most on the case.

The defence have been shocking so I wouldn’t be surprised if the judge took a dim view. They let photos get leaked and came up with the odinist crap which was baseless and has now been thrown out.

Is there a podcast I can follow which doesn't have the ins & outs of a cat's bum on it, just the important bits? I was following Down The Hill but nothing more has come from that. I tried following Murder Book or whatever it is, recommended on here, but that goes into every single legal argument and I just get lost.

My God, these girls deserve justice. The thought of him getting away with their murder because of incompetent legal nitwits makes me livid.

I really wish down the hill had continued after the arrest. It was such a great podcast. Handled with class and informative without being too confusing!

Still due to start next week, jury selection begins.
I still think he might change plead at last minute though.

Saw this on Reddit. Seems there is a lack of DNA from Bridge Guy but also someone else’s completely in the victim’s hand.

Don't forget guys, they haven't clarified whose hair or if it is even human.
Abby was wearing a jacket and in a picture had her hands in the pocket. It could be her own hair. It could be Libbys. It could be Kathy Allen's hair... it could even be a cat hair.

They have also said for years that there is no usuable DNA in this case. So of course a hair found isn't going to match Richard Allen's DNA if it isn't able to be tested.

I'm sceptical. Why was this not in the franks motion? It would be easier to talk about hair of an unknown assailant than Odinism and get the case thrown out surely?

It’s going to be so interesting hearing what evidence they have as they have been so tight lipped throughout.
Hope for family’s sake they have the right guy.

Considering he’s admitted it about 60 times and the bullet found with the bodies had gone through his gun, I’m pretty sure they have the right guy.

I've seen a lot of people say this type of bullet evidence is BS, I think Runkle might have made a video about it. Also from what i understand the girls weren't shot so the bullet could potentially have been there before.

I don't like the lack of transparency with this case at all and the judge has been very anti-defence.

I've always wanted this case to be solved but I am worried there won't be justice.
