The thinking is that he made them go ‘down the hill’ by pointing the gun at them. He needed a way to force them.

Potentially but surely they would have tested it. Surely they still could too. I have an awful feeling this case will collapse.
They say Richard Allen knew things that only the killer would know and I’m interested to see what that is exactly. There’s his confession but it feels that they are scant on evidence?
I’ve read that actually his confessions were incorrect. Incorrect cause of death, weapons used, and other details.
Apparently in one "confession" he said he shot the girls (I don't think cause of death was ever released but it was confirmed that they weren't shot...). He has a history of depression and was in solitary for month and months and I heard somewhere that this is likely to make people give a false confession. I don't know I just want to hear as much of the evidence as I can to make my own decision.
The investigation has been absolutely shocking
2 knives were used, one serated, one not.
It was released in the opening statement - both throats slit. One was naked and had her friends shoes and phone under her, the other was dressed in her friends clothes and the other clothes were found in the water.
Thanks for the info, how awful. I hadn't realised one was naked, I had heard that clothes had been swapped. Need to catch up with Andrea Burkhart and Lawyer Lee later
Haven’t heard anything relating to them being positioned in a sacrificial way with branches and leaves etc, something about it being a cult killing was released a year or so ago but nothing so far in the trial (unless I’ve missed it)
I think the jury will be told to disregard them. Which is easier said than done!
I knew there would be twists and turns but I’m worried as well. Keep telling myself it’s only just started, hopefully the prosecution has an incredibly strong case with irrefutable evidence that we haven’t heard about yet.
