The murder sheet podcast goes into detail about the leaked photos as they were sent them and went to police.
One of the person involved committed suicide, it’s really sad.
I guess a new defence will push the trial back, poor girls families it must be a nightmare for them.

I have been following the trial from the UK - listening to Andrea Burkhart summaries. I know very little history about the murders so am not overly knowledgeable about the nitty gritty of the case and any background I know some thing have been attributed to the Odin theory (not a lot about that either). I cannot see how the Jury can convict as there is no evidence from the scene that puts Richard Allen as the murderer. I feel that the confessions are due to his treatment in the prisons and are false. But hey what do I know really just an opinion that means nothing from someone who doesn't live in the USA and probably unaware of the legal nuances ( will say I know more about USA legal system than my own county's thanks to all the law tubers and the fact that there is live coverage of lots of trials).

Anyway I am interested to see the outcome of this and I feel so sorry for the families of the girls who have had to endure this what I would class as a shit show of an investigation and may always have questions whatever the verdict.

When you follow a biased person eg Andrea Burkhart, you will form a biased view. None of us were there during the trial so we can only go by the people reporting what happened and some will have their own agendas. I just hope that Richard Allen is the person guilty and he is safe from the public and that it gives some closure to the girls families after all this time.

It is absolutely right the jury take as long as they need to reach the verdict they feel is right. It might be frustrating but I'd rather them take 2 weeks to reach a verdict they believe to be right rather than 2 hours because they feel pressured to deliver a verdict they don't believe in.

I am disappointed that’s it so far, looking forward to hear what the defence say.
However at what point is there too many coincidences
He was on trail at time and wearing same clothes as bridge man.
He knew about white van when it hadn’t been mentioned.
Why did he try change his height after murder.
The phone he had at time is missing ( he kept all the rest ]
The bullet ( I am not convinced by this though ]
The confessions ( although could be due to being locked up ]
But is it enough to convict him, not sure yet.

I cannot believe they have fucked this up so badly after all this time. Those poor kids and their families deserve justice.

So far the prosecution case has been so flimsy and poorly handled. It really is shocking given the time they've had to prepare.

I do think he is guilty, and I think they’ll convict him, but I don’t think the case is solid enough and the state hasn’t done enough imo to prove his guilt. The entire case had been bungled so badly from the start. Those poor girls. 💔

The blood splatter expert was only asked to carry out an analysis THIS year. The investigation has been a shit show.

If Richard Allen did it, the state has a weak case at best. At worst, he could walk and double jeopardy applies. If he didn’t do it, the states case is proving that for him. What a mess.

Tried to act crazy by eating his excrement (only after he had confessed and then had a visit from his lawyer) but still got 130 years, ouch!

It’s been way too long but finally some justice for Abby and Libby ❤

I would like to see his interrogation video and then a follow up from ‘The Behaviour Panel’.

5 hours 32 mins later 😂 I need to get a life

I agree with all of the above it's a mixed bag looking at him in those interviews he seems unbothered, why didn't he lawyer up, that cop even annoyed me with his repetitive question 🤣
I think the way he keeps laughing is a dead giveaway its a nervous reaction, it's so inappropriate

His wife knew he did it, he manipulated her, deflecting when she asked why he didn't tell her he was on the bridge by saying I love you.

On the calls when the call is coming through and he says rick....I got chills. ... sounds exactly like bridge guy

He places himself on the bridge , wearing bridge guy clothes ( although he does say his jacket is either blue or black) at the time the girls were there. He doesn't deny it's his car in the photos from the video of him heading to the trails.
To me his voice is exactly like bridge guy. At one stage in the interview he even says down the hill (around 2h 12m)

I think justice was served here

The defence attorney have said that their office was broken into an crime scene photos were taken. It seems credible.

Those photos were then sent to some true crime bloggers and they subsequently made videos. Some agreed the scene seemed staged, with twigs placed on their bodies.
The FBI were brought in to consult on the case and suggested a religious\Odinist aspect but were dismissed by local police (I still cant believe local police can do this). 2 of the FBI people who worked on the case have died (unsure if linked).

One of the photos leaked online, of some blood on a tree (the blood that is suggested that looks like a F shaped rune). Thankfully images of the girls with the twigs placed on them and around their heads have not been released.

One girl was clothed in the other girls clothing, one girl was nude. One girl had no blood on her (which is odd). There are suggestions she was arranged. She was on top of a shoe, that was on top of a phone).

One of the people who stole the photos committed suicide afterwards.

The defence attorneys have quit. I'm sure RA will get new counsel but there is a danger of the trial collapsing, and it will mean more delays.
