I was just about to say the same thing. We all know that fear we can hear in their sweet voices. Hoping the creepy guy will leave you alone. Being polite so you don’t evoke an angry response.

This is a very good article that was in the Daily Mail yesterday. It talks about the ABC documentary and a new book which are both described as definitive accounts of the murders:
As someone who hadn't followed the case closely, I found it useful because it looks at all the strands of the case including Ron Logan, Kegan Kline and the Odinist links. The thing that struck me the most is how badly the case was handled initially which included the police losing hours of recorded interviews and how they misplaced the 'tip sheet' which might have led them to Allen in the early days.
Apparently it was only in 2022 that a volunteer police clerk picked up that Allen's name had slipped through the cracks. This was because he was listed as Richard Allen Whiteman i.e. it looked like Whiteman was his surname when it's actually the road on which he lived. That realisation helped the volunteer to realise from his and other statements that he was likely the 'Bridge Guy.
As someone who had read about his being in solitary confinement and how his behaviour deteriorated whilst there, I did have my doubts as to his guilt because I hadn't followed the case closely. However, reading this article convinces me that they got the right person with the clincher being that he revealed information in his detailed confession to the prison psychologist that only the killer would have known.
I am still very curious about Kegan Kline and the article doesn't go into that much detail about him. It seems such a coincidence that he spoke to Libby the night before the killings. But maybe it was just that - a coincidence. He clearly isn't the 'Bridge Guy' and if there was any other supporting that he was involved, I'm sure that the police would have found been delighted/relieved to have found it and be able to link him to the case.
I was glad to read this article because as I said, I now no longer have any doubts as to his guilt. It's just a pity the initial investigation allowed him to remain free for so many years.

Because it's a small community and it felt safe. There were other people there too. My friends and I played all over the place when we were young, often in isolated areas.

Hopefully the jury will be able to tell us how they reached their verdict. I'm glad that the families may find some peace with this verdict.

Their families have waited for so long. I thought they must have had a strong case to arrest and charge someone after so many years.
There needs to be justice for these two kids who had their whole lives ahead of them. Whoever did this deserves to be locked up for the rest of their lives.

What was so shocking to me was that it was a beautiful sunny day and they were just acting like any teen girls would, and suddenly some psycho comes up behind them and murders them. What got me while watching the video is that they were dead very quickly after it stopped.

I've only just heard about this horrific crime. I've seen the video and now can't stop thinking about those poor girls and how scared they must have been. What a disgusting and horrible world we live in.

I think he did it but I could see a jury being swayed due to the months spent in solitary etc.
It would be interesting to hear the confessions and watch the videos. We're only getting descriptions, I'm sure it would be totally different to view it in person.
The bullet, the box cutter, the rape and the white van are swaying it for me. Especially as he also puts himself in all the places bridge guy did.
It's so infuriating that they misfiled that tip..5 years is a long time to get rid of evidence. It would be a completely different case.
My heart just breaks for those girls. Regardless of who did it, the panic and fear they must have felt in their dying moments is just absolutely heartbreaking. I'm hoping this is the guy and they get justice.

In one of his confessions he tried to claim that he thought they were older. Watching that video, there's NO WAY he thought they were older. If anything, they both look and sound younger.

This case is turning into more and more of a pantomime with each passing day. So very sad for these young girls to die in such horrific circumstances and now this. RIP sweet girls, you deserved so much more.

I just want those poor kids and their families to get justice. This has dragged on for so long it must be unbearable for them. Libbys grandmother used to post ‘today is the day’ every day on social media before they made their arrest. I can’t imagine how it must feel to think they finally have him and then have to wait so long for the trial.

I think maybe she started like that but it quickly became more about him too. Otherwise why would she have kept the video running?
He approached so damn quick though. And it makes me so angry that the media and youtubers lied about how far away he was. You can tell he is close and you can also tell he isn't anywhere near Ron logans 6ft size.
