Mines just popped up with a "Hey" at a quarter to midnight after leaving me on read since 9am this morning 🙄🍺
Bin him off
Honestly what is going through all these boys heads.

f*** a text after 11pm unless you’re also on the horn hahah.

I learnt that from Patti Stanger Millionaire Matchmaker ( that said I text after 11 sometimes cause I can’t sleep / brain is going)

nah bye boy. Like the thing is a guy who is really interested doesn’t leave you on read all day. That’s one thing that dating has taught me there is a massive difference with someone who’s not really bothered vs someone it’s going somewhere with.

Thanks for your thoughts ladies, and @ThreeSteaksPam it's so weird isn't it, the switch in attentiveness.

Ironically, he's literally just messaged me back while I'm typing this post...

Usually I'm not fussy at all about messaging times, but after the excellent date I suppose I have let my imagination wander a bit. 🤦‍♀️
After this happened on Thursday... He popped up, asked me on a second date, and has left me on 'read' since then, three days later

Maybe this is a "delete as a contact" situ cause I'm REALLY in the mood to lol.

Honestly, I never ever regretted deleting a man’s number. I regretted the times I didn’t and when drunk decided to double text or allow them the time of day. He is giving you nothing but annoyance - time to take out the trash. If he comes crawling back then leave him on read and then bin him again.

This is such a good point! I didn’t realise until I read that but yeah I’ve never ever regretted deleting someone’s number.
I’m meant to be going on a second date with someone and it’s really highlighting how bad my self confidence is, the first date was at night at a pub and I feel like in a daytime date he won’t like me lol. I look better in the dark 😂 also he’s quite into fitness and whilst I am active I also probably eat too much and could do with losing about 5-10kgs. I just feel super self conscious. Aaah I have issues 😔

I wish the pm option worked it’s not working for me atm and I never see the icon! Any recommendations for a staycation? (Bars Restaurants you know that sort of thing. in Glasgow or Edinburgh)
I don’t know if you’re looking for hotel recs too? In Glasgow I’ve only stayed at Blythswood Square for a spa day, SO nice. I know that Radisson Red gets really good reviews, and Dakota at Eurocental is lovely but not central. There’s so many nice bars, the most popular I’d say are The Social, Tiki Bar, The Spiritualist, Gin71 and I love everywhere in the merchant city!

Edinburgh personally my fav places to stay are Tigerlily and the Witchery. Bars I’d say you have to go to The Dome (it’s gorgeous) and Tigerlily is good for drinks too.

Wow, who will I pick? The ice cream, the beer or the view from a plane window? #spoiltforchoice

eta: just noticed the ice cream says ‘Aimee’ in it. Is this some kind of secret code? Needless to say my name is not Aimee.
Haha I don’t normally post on here but that made me laugh. We must be around the same area… I’m thinking I might pick the horse 🙄

Unmatch them, no point putting in effort if they're not

@realhousewivewannabe she was annoyed with him last night but she told me today not to overthink it and he was drunk etc
Not to overthink it. It’s bad enough telling you he thinks you’re a slut, but also that he’d have a go if he was single. Man, I don’t think I could ever look at my man again if he said that. Drunk just means ‘no filter’, not that her didn’t mean it. Basically, he’s had thoughts about shagging you! 😱

Evening gang I’m sat here with a little wine and ice cream catching up on all these posts.

spent this week working out and working, love island and football and not on apps 💪🏾😇

got the weirdest text not WhatsApp or Instagram from the 48 year old (who said he was 46 and his mum is ill etc) this week saying he hopes I’m ok, that I understand what he’s going through and to speak soon”. Anyway If you’ve got an iPhone, this is your reminder to block the number and WhatsApp I just did ig and WhatsApp 😞🚨 I also have no idea what guys mean by “speak soon”

but thank you next you weirdo.
I can’t believe this was said to you! Don’t feel ashamed. The audacity has given me anger on your behalf. What did your friend say? He sounds like an absolute pri*k

@Woolmercardington I got so invested in those texts 🤣🤣🤣lol. Keep posting

Slightly off topic but as were multi National here anyone from Scotland?
Ladies don’t forget you need to block on your phone and WhatsApp individually. I’ve blocked on WA in the past and then the creeps just texted me instead! 🖕🏻

What is up with these men..!? They think they can pick women up and put them down when it suits them, they would never hear from me again.

I hate taking photos and generally hate photos of me but I really wonder about some of the photos that men use on their profiles. They really do themselves no favours and honestly half the time make themselves look so much worse
Agreed. I come across so many with photos of themselves in bed without a top on looking like they've just woken up. Comes across as so sloppy.

I’ve decided to take a step back from my dating situation to focus on myself and think about what I want to do about it. I love him but after countless times reassuring him I don’t want/haven’t slept with anyone else he still pops up with little comments, last week he said it looks like someone else has been biting my bits and it’s just getting me down. He has insecurities about being wanted but whenever I think they are getting better he will drop in comments like that. Other times it can be about who I’m sending my pics to or even ‘joking’ I’m on OnlyFans.

He sounds very insecure and I can understand how that would get you down. It comes across like he doesn't trust you at all and is always second guessing what you're doing.

I'm glad you are taking some time for yourself as I remember you've been questioning the relationship for a while. I think he really needs to work on his trust issues if you were to ever get back together in the future though, some of his comments have been disrespectful.

This and also...why do they look so startled in the photos? It's a selfie - you took it YOURSELF. No surprises about when the shutter clicked :ROFLMAO:

Usually no bio is a no from me, but even worse are those generic ones like 'looking to meet someone and have a relationship' like??? What am I supposed to be working with here?? You want a relationship but show nothing about yourself?

We all do lovely, especially after lockdown! 😔

They are trying to entice you to want to get in with them I think. It’s like, yeah right you’ve probably been farting all night and your breath probably stinks too! 🤣

Or the good old "I like going out but I also like staying in". Ooh quirky with your unique interests!

I understand. If only all profiles were as detailed and creative as Connor.
