Your question made me think the reason Danae doesn't have an Italian ID card by now (for declared residency , which is different than a spousal permit to stay) and stays away so often might be to avoid the 183 day tax law in Italy. Hmmm.
A family member lives in Dubai and has been told to stay home for 2-3 days to let the city recover. Why is she insisting on dragging her baby around what’s basically a no-go zone including getting into another stranger’s car?!

Exactly. Since when is it normal to literally drive through a flood. The people doing it have literally no choice because Dubai is a service industry and these people need their income to live. Uber drivers and deliveroo bikes are carrying on because the rich residents expect them to risk their lives to drive them around the city.

ah, the *real* reason Danae went to Dubai! dental treatment! TOTALLY worth placing her baby at risk by travelling to. Dubai & roping a total stranger into driving them through the floods - can't miss out on getting her cavities filled. dental work she could easily afford to get done in Italy, so absolutely no excuse to put Aurora in danger - even more so when she's so happy to palm her off on nannies, so why even take her! mother of the bleeping year

I cannot comprehend why:
1. Does she go all the way to Dubai to go to a dentist, as if this service does not exist in Italy
2. Does she take the child with her as if child doesn't have a father and grandparents to take care of her. And we know she travels every 5 minutes with her.
3. Doesn't cancell this clearly non essential trip with her child in sight of a natural disaster (I don't think calling it weather problems foes it justice). Just dont go. Go back home. She can afford a new plane ticket. Like can't you go fix you teeth in a few weeks? Or just do it in Italy?
4. Gets into a car with a stranger. I don't know Dubai well, is this normal? Is this safe? Do locals regularly give lifts to distressed white ladies?

It occurred to me too that she might be running her business out Dubai so she needs to be there a certain amount of days to maintain tax residency. No idea if it's beneficial tax-wise, compared to Italy.

Dubai is income tax free, if she still has valid residency or a golden visa would explain the need for her to keep up appearances of living there to avoid paying tax in Italy…..

I've been weirded out by her obsession with this for awhile. The AI beauty standards are HER beauty standards. They're the beauty standers influencers have perfected with their posing and endless filter testing being fed into the machine for 15 years. Based on the pictures she posted of it and the "AI" girls.. It's pretty clear it's a porn thing followed by guys with issues. Normal girls don't want to date them for a reason. Who cares? I think the real reason is she's worked so hard to finally achieve her model body and is setting up her daughter for the same life (probably idolizes Kris Jenner) that she's upset there's going to be a smaller stage for 'influencers' to get brand deals down the road. I don't care about influencers who use filters to death and get endless surgeries losing their income stream through. We're so much worse with our concept of body image and the dangerous surgeries people are normalizing than we ever were with 80s/90s diet culture and it's because of influencers.. not cartoon-AI images.
