Just seen this on an article I was reading, her natural face on the left is so much prettier than her altered face on the right
I think her slimed down face accentuates her large nose and very masculine sqaure jaw line where with her fuller face she looks a lot more in proportion

I was actually surprised at the way her brother looks in the second episode. Have they been both enjoying some ozempic

I watched the rest of the 2nd series on iplayer. No spoilers obviously but I don't know what to think. On the whole I'm a bit disappointed. It's lost something but I can't put my finger on what. It's all gone a bit try hard and it's not as effortless as S1. Too many character twists that don't make sense. Plus I really really dislike Jen.
Plus points - Lenny Rush is getting to be a terrific actor (imo). One of the best things in it.
I still like watching Daisy May. I think she's a great comedy actor with her facial expressions.
It's obviously left open for S3 but not sure that will happen.
Daisy said on Woman's Hour that she realises how silly the flashback scenes look because she looks so different. She said she felt like putting a disclaimer at the start of the episodes saying that she's lost 10 stone, got new lips, some scenes she's pregnant and some scenes she isn't. She also said they had to largely rewrite the first episode as some of the actors had moved onto other projects by the time she left hospital and returned to filming.
The ending pissed me off

That's refreshingly honest and nice to see repeated on here. I'm a massive TC fan. I love her and her brother too. I just think, she's been thrown in to celeb status and wow, trying to change her appearance, but doing it wrong.
Proper normal person, coming into money and fame...it's like she ticked the box on the fame contract, for no not paying for PR and media help, yes I'll do it alone. Well...look at the result . I still think she's good, albeit a bit weird looking now xx
I agree and I’m still giving her the benefit of the doubt. However, I wish she’d find the middle ground between polished unrecognisable celebrity who only speaks through her PR and Kerry Katona style hot mess.
I watched the first episode last night and found it completely disorienting and hard to follow?!
I’ve just finished episode 5 of the new series and I just get my head around the complete 360 the writing has gone from series one. Mrs Baggot this series is utterly pointless and so is having Denise Black in it with shades on acting pissed and saying darling every line , it just seems like a total mish mash of a lot of pointless b stories and the main plot has barely had any time.

You can kind of understand leaving something on a cliffhanger. But to just leave out jens entire motive was weird
Personally I’m of the opinion that it isn’t a case of DMC not being able to repeat This Country. I actually think that was a fluke and far more of a credit to Charlie. Everything else she’s done and the strange way she publicises her personal life is distinctly disappointing.
