I remember the carbonara! He also got really nasty with someone who criticised his cooking and put it on comment his stories, encouraging people to go after the person. Really awful behaviour and you’re right, the true colours came shining through very quicklyAs a paid or sponsored post was how I first came across his profile. He later claimed the whole thing was organically grown, just him teaching his friends how to cook, and it grew fast, then it was him, teaching himself how to cook during lockdown ‘for his boys’, but he’s always claimed it’s all been organically grown, all his hard work and efforts. I remember, very early on, his nasty side was there, he’d posted his god awful ‘carbonara-ish’ recipe, and someone rightfully pointed out that it wasn’t anything close to a carbonara, he was so nasty to that guy, bragging how he has more followers etc. Hes always turned ugly quickly, his past troll life comes out (perma banned from Facebook, poor Si) His whole single dad, ex homeless schtick is just insulting to all those who’ve truly suffered through hard times. ‘I remember I went to the job centre, I didn’t want handouts, I just wanted a suit’. Well times couldn’t have been that hard if he could reject actual financial support, could they now? And how lovely, to let people going through hard times know that how you think they just get handouts. True character always shows, no matter how people try to act or hide it

He’s an interesting case study isn’t he? On the face of it he arrived on the scene and got a large following quite quickly as he seemed relatable cooking everyday stuff in his kitchen making it easy and fun to follow. Talked a lot about past hardships and working hard to bring himself back up and seemed keen to help others. Replied to all comments and dms. Then the real story started to creep in. The over the top ‘studio’, glamorous assistant and brand deals. He could have done well if he just kept going but no, the greed was too much and he couldn’t keep hiding his true personality. Then came the other daft ‘businesses’ such as the flopped gym wear (wtf did that come from anyway?!) and now he’s reduced to begging to pay for his dinner. What a melt!!

Looking over his recipes- it’s the neck and nerve he has that bugs me. He really thinks he’s pulled the wool over everyone’s eyes. He doesn’t even bother to tweek the recipes. It’s word for word - stolen from the original chefs. For someone who constantly preaches about how righteous he is - this is pretty low.

How it appears the “mighty” has fallen. Gone from posing in Boss suits, endless ads, getting in with brands and influencers, new ‘businesses’, recruiting glamorous assistants and gobbing off about all the good deeds he does, to begging for his lunch expenses to be reimbursed and wearing badly applied foundation on his forehead. What a scrote!

Just to keep the thread going... I can't believe no one has mentioned him pretending to open the bin with his kn⁰b. That repulsed me
I know this pathological lier personally and I'm honestly so happy to have found this thread exposing him for who he really is!
The story goes like this...
His parents shipped him off to a town in Manchester when he was around 15, 16 because of the problems he was creating for himself in their local area down south. The lies and preying on very young children caught up with him there and it was safer for him to be sent far away from it all. He then started the same weird made up lifestyle bullshit there too. Firstly he was a drug dealer who would post pictures of cars and money that was either someone else's or off Google! He told everyone he was a graffiti artist that goes by the name "kidsketch" but when the time came to visibly prove this talent something would always happen to prevent his story unravelling. Then he was the "owner" of a scrap yard. Then he was a car sales man. He's never been homeless that's a complete fabrication for attention purposees. He lived with family upuntil they'd had enough of his fantasies and kicked him out where he then lived in a council flat. After grooming more young girls and making yet more enemies due to nothing more than bullshit he had his arse handed to him In the town centre one night where I witnessed him crying and begging for the assault to stop. This was just one man who Simon earlier had been making lies up about and this man being a man confronted Simon before folding him like a deck chair. He then moved to Kirkham where all his weird pathological bullshit could continue and all the rest you guys seem to know about. I think he needs professional help, the man is unwell. How can a human being live a life that doesn't actually exist? He's not a good father, or a good person. He bullies women and should be on a register for the fact he preys on very young or underage children. I can't wait to witness this clown get what he really deserves because it is certainly on the way for him!

I’m so glad I’ve found this thread…I’ve been following him for a long time and thought I was the only person who got fed up with his self congratulatory posts. I started following him as most of his content was simple, quick meals but it’s now digressed to an account that’s all about him, rather than him providing content to his followers. I realised fairly on that most of ‘his’ recipes were plagiarised but tbh, the fact he was posting them was a lot more convenient than searching online for recipes (my laziness). However, he’s now monopolising others’ work and he 100% should be called out on that. He’s now, somewhat, of a public figure and that comes with being open to admiration and condemnation but what gets me is his arrogance at people, predominantly on here from what I’ve discovered, expressing their views of him. People are entitled to their views, him decrying this as ‘trolls’ highlights his narcissism. On a side note, I have never understood how an account, that is literally named Dad the *Dish*, has content asking people about furniture, what presents he should get his kids, showing off his (underused) home gym and the the continuous posts about how much of a jolly good guy he is. It’s boring and arrogant, everything he portrays to be the opposite of. Also, I have never known a grown man to use so many love hearts and the emoji with heart eyes in my life. He’s completely playing up to a certain demographic of his followers. I only follow him now for the cringe…
It’s the absolute irony of calling people trolls and liars, when he’s literally making a living off of plagiarising recipes, that people have spent countless hours over creating, and claiming them as his own. The hypocrisy of his positivity crap he constantly spouts, while ripping off peoples work and never giving them an ounce of credit. And the idiots who seem to believe him, and pat him on his short little back, telling him what a good little guy he is, are they totally brainless? No wonder he thinks he has people fooled. Pinch of Nom had a new book out recently, I can’t wait to see those recipes claimed at his, he lifts a lot from them already
In another addition to the man who sold second hand cars, then ran a recruitment company, tried to flog aftershave, considered selling designer clothing, decided he was a social media star and cook, and caravan renter, he’s now taking a step into apparently having an athlesiure wear business. Because why wouldn’t an overweight gym shy man, who sounds out of breath while he’s doing his food videos be the perfect example of a fitness wear salesman? Well, we have Thai green curry, but he’s tried to make the recipe his own by removing some of the ingredients that make it a true Thai green curry. No lemongrass, no ginger, no Thai basil leaves, no lime leaves, nothing of its actual Thai green curry taste, just the curry paste. It’s really nothing more than one of the boxed kits you can buy. Really poor from a ‘celebrity chef’.
