It’s a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach, about 25 minutes to Byron Bay outside peak hour traffic, and it’s about 20 minutes to Bangalow where Crystal seems to hang about (probably hoping to bump into Ruby Tuesday Matthews and Courtney Adamo to start a top tier influencer girl gang ).

It’s about a 40 minute drive to Gramps at Seven Mile Beach. Oh, wait. He only lasted a month. Never mind.

The nearest beaches are beside reclaimed mangrove swamp and the area regularly floods in heavy rain cutting off the roads to the beaches.

Don’t forget Corkboard Castle backs onto a highway. The airbnb listing said it can be noisy. Crystal’s lease runs over Christmas so she can’t be kicked out for the summer holiday lettings - but come January she’ll have run out of money and will be back in Leila’s smallest bedroom in Murwillumbah.
