She tagged a ceiling in Greece and said it was one of her ‘designs’. Crystal has never been to Greece so she wouldn’t realise rustic ceilings are a dime a dozen there, plus the photo looked like a stock image.

I notice she only tags about three different businesses that have used her ‘design services’. A real designer would be able to tag every client.

It made me feel sick. Those videos 2 nights in a row…. On the rare occasions her very young child is with her…. She spends a day in bed designing…. And then has a teenage style house party 2 nights in a row with a bunch of people who looked completely off their heads. How does the other parent accept this being on public social media and still willingly send the child to her for visits? Mind you, check the child’s own Instagram stories for him ‘out cold’ (no doubt from 2 wild nights of little sleep at mums place) earlier today. So you’ve gotta think neither parent has any clue.

rents in Australia are astronomical at the moment especially in that general area because it’s a desirable area to live but thousands of homes were lost in floods so there is a rental shortage.

so $1k/week for a fully furnished place with a view isn’t bad.

what is bad is that based on what she shares it’s probably beyond her means. She could have got a lovely smaller place that is less fancy for a lot less money.

she has to pay $52k/year just in rent, if you pay more than 30% in rent you are deemed to be in rental stress.

That means she has to be making $173k after tax, which means she has to make about $260k before tax which is $5k/week.

who’s betting Crystal didn’t do this math (kind of like how she didn’t do the due diligence when she opened her homewares store and realised how expensive shipping was and how hard delivery times were and that the math didn’t work on small margins).

anyway she’ll hustle to try and keep it, I predict a whole bunch of those I’ll style your house on the cheap deals again (the ones she said she wouldn’t do because she is onto bigger things).

I doubt there’s a lot of money in this smart home collab - it’s more ego for her. She gets so much significance from working with d grade celebs and partnering with brands but most influencers don’t make a lot of money. Fame and free stuff doesn’t pay the bills.

I find her the most confusing person to follow. We went through this whole starting a new chapter of moving to byron earlier in the year when she moved in with Leis. Now we are starting the same new chapter? And she has to be splitting her time still with tamworth as that us where the “studio” or whatever she calls it is... The one that was going to close but now isn’t.
Then we have all the “we are all going to be together” stuff but how unless she suddenly got custody after years of not having it.
I think the only thing that has actually happened is that she has signed a lease like a normal person for 6 months and she now has somewhere where she can be with her kids when she actually has them both at the same time (holidays).

She’s transforming someone else’s home which is so disrespectful. Curtains don’t hang with blue-tac. And that dog up on that cork table scratching it with its paws? I wonder how the owners feel about all this. And where does the garage shelving and concrete tables and extra furniture go when she vacates in a few weeks? In the mean time where does the owners furniture get stored that she’s taking out of there?

Yes just like her ex roomie Leila with the probably made up stories by kids, maybe they have all said all of those things but it’s not really something to be proud of. Kids shouldn’t be having such deep thoughts. Her kid should be saying the house is awesome and crystal should be reminding him that there are more important things than what people have. Do not brag about your child having more sense than you.

And yes, like ever thanking Leila for not leaving her… really hope that didn’t happen because that is just sad and not at all something to share.

So it backs onto a motorway and is in Byron Shire… but it still isn’t in Byron Bay.

People like Crystal and the transients she moves into her home, are just as bad as each other. They’re opportunists. Preying on other people to get their own needs met. It will end badly. And it serves her right.
