I had a bag of Golden Wonder today after a long absence. They has a sweet taste about them - not suitable at all for cheese and onion crisps ! And when I checked the ingredient list, sure enough sugar was listed. That's just wrong.

Thank god, I thought i was the only person who remembered them! They were made by Smiths i think and, yes, in a maroon colour packet. These are so good! I have recently started buying the co op salt and vinegar crisps again after not buying a packet for a couple of years. I forgot how good they are ! Definitely the gold standard for salt and vinegar crisps imo
You should look at Reddit R/crisps2 X new ones for me - I tried taytos for the first time when I was in a pub in London and they were amazing! We shared the beef and onion and the prawn cocktail ones. I preferred the beef ones but both so flavourful!
Currently eating these wagyu beef and mustard ones and they're quite good. I'd rate them like an 8 of 10. Nice strong beef and mustard taste
