I also watched another documentary a cult of sin and influence I think it was called on the fire stick so not 100% sure what channel originally but it was also eye opening about ruby and Jodi they are a pair do evil witches.

This also made me watch/read about the Lori Vallow Daybell case and she is another religious mother who turned evil as well!
Ah yes! The Daybell case is wild. I listened to an audiobook called ‘the doomsday mother’ by John Glatt in 2024- blew my mind.

Making a Murderer on Netflix... like WTF.
Any updates or a thread discussing this case?
So many questions but honestly the parents have aged so much & the twists & turns must be absolutely awful for them.

Dont want to put any spoilers incase people are yet to watch but I was confused by the university student. Was it a scam or something else?
I think the police accepted it was a scam. But yeah, it was a really odd one. The language barrier didn't help. Lost in translation.

I watched series 5 ep1-3 today.
I've watched the first three, not the last one.

Something feels a bit 'missing' (no pun intended) this series. I can't put my finger on it but I've found myself drifting off during every episode. One thing seems glaringly obvious - there are a lot of fucked up kids!

Annie Elise host of the Serialously podcast has done good deep dives into the Ellen Greenberg case, she is in touch with her parents and has had them on one of her podcasts after the documentary came out and often updates as there is a federal enquiry ongoing

I've watched crash on Netflix, where can I see other documentaries so I can see different view points please?
I watched it on HBO Max . It might be worth checking if Amazon prime have hbo channel included in their additional channel options . If they do then you might get a free 7 day trial . Annoyingly this was not offered through the HBO Max app directly . 😖
ETA - discovery+ do offer a free trial so maybe try them first ( if you haven’t already signed up )

Little Miss Innocent - Disney+

thoughts and spoilers hidden.

I was convinced that it was the father/adam throughout the first 2 episodes of this documentary. Episode 3 changed that due to the digital evidence at presented and I thought that she must have indeed been guilty of the murder . Until in the last 10 minutes the documentary revealed that a 2nd trial jury were also hung so the prosecution changed its charge to manslaughter. THIS I AM ON BOARD WITH..

this is what i think - i think that Kaitlyn bought the colcohine with the intention of possibly poisoning Adam - who she openly admits that the relationship was toxic . I think she might have trialled it on Mary - but it made Mary sick which resulted in her going to hospital before passing away a couple of days later. I cant see a reason why she would want to murder Mary - there wasnt a sniff of any bad blood between either eve with the Adam situation. I also think that she accepted the package at work, then opened it and took the bottle out - this would explain why her DNA was on both the envelope and the bottle. The police also stated that the package was found under her seat - so i suspect she forgot it. Then Mary died - she panicked - sent a letter to the police pointing at Adam as being responsible and it all spiralled from there. So its my belief that Adam was the intended victim - not Mary. Also shit defence on Kaitlyn's side for just blindly accepting the prosecutions version of events.. but even so I still think that my suspicions makes most sense.
