It's probably been mentioned before on here but I find the the YouTube channel ExploreWithUs very good. The footage is all body cam and from the actual interviews

Hunting around for something of interest to watch I happened upon this documentary.
Found it really interesting.
Some 'interesting' people out there!

I know I haven't watched everything out there but it's so time consuming deciding what to 'give it a watch' & not waste that time.

I don’t think she planned it. I think she threw a tantrum of rage and didn’t stop to consider the consequences. I think she thought herself untouchable and was never taught to be responsible for her actions. She’s a very narcissistic, spoilt individual who has learned nothing. The “little girl lost”, wide-eyed innocent look is all a manipulative act.

I think you are right .. and the tantrum makes sense. So tantrum mixed in with copious amounts of weed .

To be honest, I guessed the whole story in the first five minutes, having no knowledge of the case before, because I'm aware of another case that happened in the USA that is almost identical. It's been featured on true crime programmes - from memory, and it's been a while, a woman is desperate to keep a man, fakes a pregnancy, and needs to find a baby. She meets her victim on some selling group I think (Facebook or Craigslist) for baby equipment/clothes. Outcome is exactly the same. I'll have to try and find it. Hang on.

Is there a particular Crime documentary/case you can watch over again or have watched more than once?

I've watched Murder in the Outback a couple of times, it's about the murder of Peter Falconio, and it was first shown during lockdown on Channel Four.
I watched it again recently because I had recorded it on my Sky box but it might be on Channel Four catch up still.
I do fall asleep in bed to true crime on YouTube on my tablet, I tend to get into a particular crime, for example the Delphi murders or the murders in Moscow, Idaho, and then watch loads of videos about that crime.
On YouTube, I like Pat Brown, the criminal profiler, and Megyn Kelly sometimes has good discussions about whatever trial is high profile, for example P Diddy's.

The book by David Collins goes into more detail. I’m convinced that they were murders and I can’t believe it isn’t being looked at again.

I'd definitely be on the side of them being murders from what I've seen. Hard to fathom why no level of review at all, just blanket denials from the police.

I kind of got a bit lost in the documentary. Did he do it twice? Once to his friends and then a few years later to the wider public through that events company. And he can't be hiding very well if the doc makers managed to contact him for a comment. All the relationships seemed really odd. The friends, the Godmother etc.

Yes he scammed all his friends back in 2022, his mother scammed his godmother for in excess of £300k for the house. He then went on and scammed 2 reseller outlets in 2024 of £1m for Glastonbury tickets.
He’s messed with a lot of unsavoury characters in doing so and the new owners of his mother’s house have been threatened several times.
Police are investigating however him and his mother are still out there somewhere!

Has anyone watched The Darkest Web on iplayer? Warning - it is about CSA, and there are some graphic descriptions. It focuses on how the police catch the criminals, but also how the work they are doing affects them. It's harrowing stuff but a well made doc.
