Could be Covid causing this. Covid-19 can cause abnormal liver test results.
Why now ? when covid has been around for over 2yrs ?
The virus is much more prevalent now since we have little to 0 measures in place.
School kids never had any measures in place it was always rampant in schools

Staff wearing masks, social distancing, class/year bubbles and weekly testing.
Not in primary school the kids mix freely 30 to a class no masks or SD ,no testing

That was for secondary school kids they're not under 10yrs old
I'm sure most parents will be very worried about the cause of this mystery illness .
Primary schools did have guidance in places as did early years settings.
