I only did a couple of weeks with CB and could see straight through her. I’ve been signed up to body by ciara for just over a week and it’s just a completely different vibe. Everyone is so supportive. The workouts are amazing. The only negative thing is that there are so many workouts every day it’s hard to choose what to do 🤣. App should be out in about a week but everything has to be submitted to apple etc so it depends if they reject anything/want changes etc. All lives are saved on Insta though and a class timetable posted the day before
I really want to change to body but this is actually what makes me nervous about it! How do you choose which to do? I like having the programme set for me as otherwise I won't do it (I am paralysed by indecision 😂)

I was exactly the same, I’m only 3 days in and already I can’t believe the difference in myself mentally. I am trying to stop calorie counting and weighing food and it’s so nice to not listen to someone bang on about calories constantly. There’s no stupid jumping about and combos that don’t go together. The timetable thing scared me too... so far I’ve just been doing the ciara workouts but I’m going to try a different one tomorrow. I do them a day behind as I do them early, so I’ve just been scanning through the workout and deciding what I want to do. Best thing I’ve done is delete Courtney’s app and switching to ciara!

you'll find out quickly which trainers work for you and which ones dont! Then it'll be easier. She also has shred and sculpt plans you can follow somewhere on her page which give suggestions!

Oh god shes doing a Q&A on her story this morning - here comes the absolutely ridiculous uneducated advices to encourage more unhealthy habits and eating disorders for her warrirors....

Q&A’s again for engagement and giving out advice on things she’s not qualified to. Lucy and Ben from My Coach School (and the not so fit couple podcast) make it so clear you need a specialist qualification to advise on eating disorders.

She doesn’t sweat?! Oh right then why does she claim she’s sweating like a ‘chicken in the oven’ every session! Make your mind up? How people not see through these blatant lies is beyond me?!

opinions?

I feel like he was way too diplomatic with this. You can tell he was just trying to be nice about it but it doesn’t help anyone really. I want James smith to call her out because he’s really mean about things and says what he thinks 😂😂 that single arm ranger is downright dangerous!!

I've been doing Ciara for about 2 months now, and didn't know what to do to start with so chose classes I knew I'd like and what suited me and then branched out. I now have a really nice routine of classes I do and every so often try a random class sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't, so just scratch that one and move on.. I've seen more progress in 2 months than what I did in the 8 months I followed CB as I can keep up, have good form and most importantly I really enjoy it which keeps my more motivated than someone screaming through the TV at me!

the amount of people who are just over worked and burning out on facebook from this challenge is ridiculous
people are crying when they’ve finished, saying it’s so difficult
why do that to yourself?

This might seem a little random, but I'm currently in the process of writing my dissertation in my final year of my undergraduate. With limited resources available because of covid, my topic is focused on online support groups surrounding body image. I'm wanting to do qualitative research where I interview people to find out their experiences of being part of such a group. Particularly if its negative or triggering. CB's group is a perfect example. But I feel like I'd have to ask her permission to use it in my research, which I can't imagine her saying yes to if it was giving people the chance to open up about any bad experiences they've had. Does anyone have any advice? It would be greatly appreciated 😂

this makes me want to scream, courtney is seriously harming people. that first message from someone saying their body physically does not let them go on during the workout is clearly suffering from fatigue. sounds like me when i used to force myself to do hiit when i had anorexia, it was just horrible.
they need to rest! deload week shouldn’t just be about reducing the time spent on workouts but instead the intensity too. hiit is so exhausting so why on earth is she making them do it every single day?!! any good trainer will tell you more than 3 hiit sessions a week is way too much.

i really hope this is comes crashing down soon she is breaking people and taking their money!!
