Has anyone had surgery abroad? Been saving for a breast augmentation here (6k) but my friend just booked in turkey for £2k. Seriously considering it
If you want to stay in the UK, have a look at gracie.collis reels on Instagram-I follow her and she just posted a discount code for the company she had her breast augmentation with. She said it would be £4050 with her code

I’ve had 0.5ml lip filler and a non surgical rhinoplasty (they use filler to smooth out bumps in the side profile of your nose)

I’m definitely going to get my lips topped up when I’m allowed! Just to maintain the shape and give some natural definition. The nose filler needs to be redone every 18-24 months so I’ll be having it sorted in a year or so!

I’d love some jaw filler & tear trough filler at some point. I’m only 25 though so I don’t wanna risk doing too much then instantly ruining my face!
How much did you pay for the nose filler if you don’t mind? I’d love a nose job and I’ve been offered one on the NHS years ago (deviated septum) but I’m terrified.

I’ve had my boobs done ✋
I hadn’t been happy with them for about 10 years (after breastfeeding my 2 daughters, they were very odd in size and shape). So I waited a good while... then spent a year researching surgeons. I found (who I think is) the best surgeon in the UK... he specialises in reconstruction, as well as enlargement. I paid the best part of £7k... a lot, but cost wasn’t my deciding factor - it was my safety, and finding the right surgeon with the best aftercare. They look amazing (even if I do say so myself!!) I went up one cup size on one side, and 2 on the other (that’s how uneven they were), and am now a D cup.
I don’t think I’d have anything else done... but I don’t dislike anything else enough or that surgery would be the only option. I could have liposuction for example... but I could also just lose weight!
I do have Botox and I have filler in my nose-to-mouth lines. I used to have lip filler, but I don’t think it looks right on me as I’ve got older.

It was done by a group called Alien Aesthetics (check their insta! Not giving myself away cos they’re based all over England 😄). They had a package deal on which combined the lips with the nose for around £260? I believe they got rid of this offer but they have similar ones where you can pick & mix. The non surgical rhinoplasty only alters the nose from the side profile, so is only useful if you have noticeable bumps from the side 😊

ETA my little sister had nose surgery on the NHS to fix a deviated septum when she was a teenager and it went really well! Even made her nose look cuter which I don’t suppose was the point😅

Did you have it dissolved? I’m debating doing this with mine, I’ve gone right off it!
If you go to some places they can just take it out,
I guess the same way it was put in?
My niece does fillers and botox and would do corrective work to tidy up bad jobs . .
It is doable. Look into it.

No - I just didn’t get anymore done. I never had them done massive though anyway... they always looked quite natural. My lips have reduced in size a lot, though I know there is still some filler in them.

I was always super against lip fillers but I recently got 1ml done because I had literally no lips whatsoever. It looks so good I can’t believe I didn’t get it sooner. It doesn’t look like fillers at all I just look like I have normal lips now. I think people think botox/ fillers look awful because they see people who go too far or get it done off some dodgy practitioner and don’t realize people who have had it done well have it at all.
I also get Botox twice a year and it doesn’t freeze my face or anything, when I’ve had it done recently people say I look like I’ve had a good night sleep/ fresh faced. So I do highly recommend to anyone on the fence about it just go to an aesthetic doctor as opposed to some random.

I've had botox and filler.

I'll be having a tummy tuck and extended arm lift later this year (I've lost a lot of weight!)

Yeah I had a hyaluronic filler which is dissolvable, I know what you're thinking of where it kind of comes out in blobs but fortunately mine can be dissolved. I last had it done 2 years ago and it doesn't look bad or anything, I've just gone off the look of it. Lots of people seem to have it 'corrected' though I haven't seen anyone who just had it removed really so I was hoping someone here may have!

For the first time in my life I am feeling extremely old.

I had to get a new photo taken today for my freelancing profile and I went to a local guy who has a professional studio. When he showed me what I looked like, I froze. How on earth did I get so old? I mean obviously I look in the mirror every day but where on earth did all those wrinkles come from - and my hair - eeeek! (bleached blonde as I have so much white coming through - I thought it looked fine but it really washes me out). And this was under professional lighting, so was probably better than 'real life'. I asked him if he could 'fix' it slightly, just to make it look a bit better, but as it has to be compared to my driver's licence he won't be able to do anything too drastic.

Anyhoo, I am now considering getting a facelift. I don't want to go down the botox and fillers route as I've heard nightmare stories about them; plus, one side of my face is slightly droopier than the other as a result of a stroke. So, I'm going to do it. I've been researching tonight and there are a couple of places that seem to have the best reviews (their before and after photos are extremely impressive). I'll worry about my hair later.

The photo experience just finished off a couple of weird days where I started fretting about my age. I tendered for some work the other day and received an instant reject email; in his response, the client had said he'd prefer someone younger! Another client rejected my proposal on the basis that I wasn't the right fit (I'm guessing age played a part there too).

Hi, hope it’s ok to post here! I have just booked a breast lift for next month (have been waiting for a date since last year!)

I wondered, for those that have had their boobs done, how long did you take off work and if you have any must haves for post op? I’ve ordered some support bras and have booked 2 weeks off (I have to use annual leave) I work at home and will continue to post op but I’m worried it isn’t enough time!

So yeah, sorry for the rambling but keen to hear from those who have expertise of this. Thank you!

@Gembo im sure you were the lady that had your consultation after mine, I can’t remember the other thread now! I hope you’re ok x

There's nothing wrong *morally* with cosmetic surgery, only that you'll look stupid if you overdo it. Having said that, I feel like we're all turning into perfection-obsessed lookalikes who are forgetting what it is to just be human. Yeah we all have flaws but we are individuals and honestly so much more than our looks. I kind of get the feeling we're all going to end up looking like KarJenners and any individual uniqueness will be lost. Imagine a few generations from now, kids looking at photos and realising everyone looks the same/very similar. XD also don't really understand the obsession with bee stung lips.

I've wanted to get a boob job for years now, since my late teens. No matter what weight I am, my general chest area is very small. I'm currently a 12/14 all over but my general chest area is at least 1 dress size smaller. Makes buying dresses particularly annoying. I am trying to drop weight but even when I've been a size 10, that part of my body shrinks even more so I still have disproportionately large tum, hips and butt anyway.

I definitely can't afford it right now but I may seriously consider implants in a couple of years time. Although it may just be easier to lose some bloody weight and hope for the best 😂

i had a raised facial mole removed in the summer..i was quite worried that the scarring would be bad but i have to say i have a small red mark thats barely noticeable. The consultant I saw gave me petroleum jelly to put on it ..apparantly it quite a recent change to aftercare and stops wound scabbing over so prevents some of the scarring.
Could I please what your reasons for having the mole removed? Was it a concern for the mole or more for vanity? Only asking as I have one I would like removed but very nervous I won’t look like myself anymore without it

Before this nightmare started was due to finally have my upper jawbone rebuilt
most had to be removed owing to my illness., so lost the upper teeth as well. it sounds so vain
but its been horrible seeing the effect on the skin., Everything has dropped down. know people dont mean it
but some of the comments have been really hurtful, The worst was thinking my dad was actually my brother (he's 70)
and im 35.... that really stung.

so decided when its all done going to get some dermal fillers and Joan Rivers levels of Botox :p

There's a danger with anything as long as people understand that, They explained to me in great detail
what could go wrong like the bone graft could fail or the impants, But for me its worth it.
everything is either blended down to a pulp or not being able to smile without someone wincing
it really grinds you down.

One thing I found amazing is the yourface pillow.
its 70 pounds but really has helped stopped the night damage, The Nurse Jamie Beauty bear pillow
worked for a while but found it hurt the back of my neck

It never particularly bothered me and i probably would have left it, but i had it removed as it was concerned about it.
It had started to itch all the time, changed shape slightly and had lost its colour (which consultant said can happen over time). My Nan died of skin cancer so thought best to get it checked.
I was really worried about what kind of scar i was gonna be left with but it wasnt in a place thats really visible on my face (just above jawline to side of face) .
I understand your concern if its on the main part of your face.
i do have 2 on my neck that i hate i would have these removed for vanity reasons..they are one of the reasons i dont have my hair up cos I think they are unsightly!

I want my breasts doing in a couple of years.
But I would absolutely be keen on having lipo and bbl.

Has anyone had a bbq ?! The only thing that almsot puts me off due to worry if not being able to sit. I’m a receptionist and have to be at the desk for 8 hours it’s really low to so unsure how I would get away with standing. Or would I just try not to care what others were saying and sit with a rubber ring cushion thing.
