I have Botox and my bunny lines filled. I also had lip filler but hated it! Only had 1ml I have large lips anyway and looked like a duck! So had it dissolved.
I don’t want to look young or be unable to move my face. I just don’t want to look tired! I’m quite interested in the mini threads in the face as my face has fallen quite a bit. I’m 34 at the moment so probably not something I’d have done now but I’m a few years. If I had the money and I wasn’t freaked my surgery, i like my body but after three kids, I would definitely have lipo and a boob uplift. I’m have slim legs, arms and waist but I have a spare tire that just won’t go 🙁

Has anyone had surgery abroad? Been saving for a breast augmentation here (6k) but my friend just booked in turkey for £2k. Seriously considering it

I’d have my forehead done a little , not completely done so it’s completely smooth and doesn’t move , just a little bit of lines there not so liney all the time , crows feet too ... that’s it , not bothered with the rest

I looked into it before I had my second one, but decided against it. Mainly because I was worried about travelling back after surgery, and what would happen if something didn’t go right while I was out there. I ended up sticking to this country and I paid £4600.

There’s this new (relatively new?) thing of having the hollow spaces, if one is unfortunate enough to have that, under the eyes injected with filler. I like the results it gives but I’m in two minds whether to have it done, as I have seen some scare stories.

Tear trough filler? I’ve seen some great results from this but like with any filler I think you need to choose carefully where you go. One of my friends had it done by a local Botox/filler girl and she used too much filler. She ended up with terrible bruising and had to go and have it dissolved!

That’s the same with anything though really, you just have to look into the injector and make sure it’s someone experienced

That’s the one. Eek, your poor friend! :-( I thought regulations would’ve tightened up by now, I remember reading some news articles a couple of years ago about how the industry in the UK wasn’t strictly regulated.

Yeah it really should be more regulated. I’m in the beauty industry (not injectables) and there’s always talk of them tightening it up but I think it’ll be such a huge thing to do. It’s scary though that you can do a one day course and then be qualified to work on peoples faces!

I had botox done just before the latest lockdown, for my crows feet- absolutely loved it! looked much more refreshed

I'd love to get a breast uplift and implants, and lipo for my stomach. I was kinda chubby my whole life until my early 20s, when I lost the weight I lost my breasts and they drooped a bit. And my stomach is pretty much always a bit chubby, unless I am extremely strict with my diet and exercise regime, and don't allow myself any treats!! (I can't live like that lol). so would be nice to have the stomach gone for once in my life

I had my boobs done at 18, then got them done again at 26. It was the best thing I’ve ever done, I was so flat chested and so self conscious as a teenager. I went to a C the first time then a DD second time - the second ones are partially under the muscle too, which means they have that natural “drop” of real boobs but they’re also still full at the top. I’ll probably have them done again once I’ve had children.

I’ve had Botox in my face but also under my arms to try and control excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). That didn’t work, so it felt like a waste of money. I saw on another thread recently about a laser treatment that stops it permanently which is something I’d love to get done.

I’ve also had some moles removed by my doctor, ones that would usually be hidden but I just didn’t like. I have a few on my face that I’d love to have removed but have been told it’d leave quite big scars, so for now I’ve left them as they are.
i had a raised facial mole removed in the summer..i was quite worried that the scarring would be bad but i have to say i have a small red mark thats barely noticeable. The consultant I saw gave me petroleum jelly to put on it ..apparantly it quite a recent change to aftercare and stops wound scabbing over so prevents some of the scarring.

Filler in lips and jaw only so far.

Really would like a tummy tuck, liposuction & breast augmentation. I’ve been looking into Nords in Lithuania, but need to save up & get to my weight goal and maintain!

I get my lips done regularly (before the lockdowns) next on my list is jaw filler.
If you don’t mind me asking you: what’s the pain like? Are results straight away or does it take a few weeks to settle? How often do you need it topping up?

Sharp pinch but nothing compared to lips - but I don’t think lips hurt that much neither.

Once done it can look lumpy mind but will settle, and massage!
ive had about 2ml either side, no sharp jawline though. I’ve gained weight and stopped having it done as I thought no point when gaining weight 🤣

I think for a really difference your looking at around 3ml at least over maybe a few months. I guess it depends if filler goes ‘down’ Quicker on yourself?
It’s been around 2.5 years since I had it done and the edges I’ll call it the start of jaw line where your ear lobes are still have a bit there as definition but by my chin nothing really.

Thanks so much will be booking a consultation when the clinic officially opens. I like my chin :ROFLMAO: but could definitely do with more definition higher up towards the sides.

Oh that’s interesting! Did you go through your GP for that or through somewhere cosmetic?

ive got Bupa through my work..the mole kept itching and it was driving me mad. as my GP wasnt doing appts unless for emergencies due to pandemic i went straight throught them. I dont think they classed it as cosmetic as i have a family history of skin cancer but the consultant was keen to reduce scarring as it was facial. He is a Mohs surgery (skin cancer) specialist which is why i chose him (just in case my mole was).
i have much less scarring from this removal than one removed from my upper arm about 8 years ago.

Are there any procedures for puffy eyes / eye bags / dark circles? I’m 28 but I constantly look tired!

I’ve had 0.5ml lip filler and a non surgical rhinoplasty (they use filler to smooth out bumps in the side profile of your nose)

I’m definitely going to get my lips topped up when I’m allowed! Just to maintain the shape and give some natural definition. The nose filler needs to be redone every 18-24 months so I’ll be having it sorted in a year or so!

I’d love some jaw filler & tear trough filler at some point. I’m only 25 though so I don’t wanna risk doing too much then instantly ruining my face!
