Work in local government - already had an email before Boris talks to say no return to the office until Sept at the earliest for us 😂

My friend works for the council and they’ve been told the same - then from September there will be a rota and they will each do one day a week seemingly forever! She is quite happy as had a long commute but it’s such a strange way to work and she misses the social aspect (as do most people probably!)
 
But that seems so unfair to dads and mums and the new babies?
Usually post-natal admissions are very short - one night maximum - hence the visiting hours. But with any prolonged admission, fathers can stay but often in private rooms/side rooms to give the other women some privacy.
