I can’t stand the masks, I’ve had a few panic attacks, and fainted wearing one back in June so I always feel anxious, but I still wear one.

I don’t go back to work until September so I’m praying that by then masks aren’t a thing anymore.

I don't think we will have to wear them all the time but I do really think we should start wearing them when we're ill with coughs and colds etc like they do in East Asians countries especially in supermarkets, public transport and places like that.
This year has shown how gross people are in general. I do hope overall the better hygiene continues (it won't)

I quite like my mask at this time of year 😂
I walked all the way home from work earlier (through very empty streets) just because it was keeping my nose warm!!
Wondering if I could get some kinda knitted cover for extra warmth

Hate masks, will be ceremonially burning mine ASAP 😂

However I’m really not looking forward to the wave of illness coming my way as soon as we are all allowed back to offices/out to play. I’ve enjoyed not getting colds/flu due to social distancing.

I’m sure initially people will continue to be more hygienic but will eventually be back to the same complacency we had before around respiratory illnesses.

A few will continue with mask wearing like VT said but I can’t say I’ve actually met anyone in my real life who wants to.

(I know people here have said they will but to be on a thread online chatting about covid, we are all more concerned than the average person so probs not the best subset for gauging general public opinion!)

Masks themselves don’t bother me at all, it’s the steaming up of my glasses that kills my soul 😩 Hate it

Best day ever today, felt like all my Christmases came at once - went to the gym and had my hair done 😂 on the way back to the car bumped into my mum and dad ❤

In tier 3 so that’ll be my only excitement for the month 😂 sorry for the drama

I used to hate the masks, but if we could open up other parts of society and more socialisation and we still had to keep them I wouldnt care at his point.

Plus I find them keep my face warm during school run 😂

I don't mind masks and hand gel, I'm a germophobe in normal times 😁
I used a tit load of sanitizer even before covid. Would always have it in my bag and use it at the mall before eating etc and then when I got into my car. I quite like that they have it at stores now lol

Sorry don’t have time to read the other thread but when do under 50s expect to have the vaccine? Ta.

Well that’s...erm.....reassuring.... 😐

the company has been given an indemnity protecting it from legal action as a result of any problems with the vaccine”

but Pfizer’s UK boss refuses to explain why the business needs protection from legal action

Hard pass. Nope. Nada. Get away from my arm 😐

This is all I can find. So I don’t know where under 50’s stand 🤷🏻‍♀️
I guess in phase 2, but there’s been no plan put forward for that yet.

However there have been direct quotes previously that vaccinations would only be for the vulnerable, frontline staff and over 50s. (From the head of the Oxford vaccine task force - Kate Bingham)

I just worry about this “no vaccine, no entry” business 😔

Just to say, this isn’t unique to this vaccine, see the below quote from the article and the list of other vaccines which are only covered by the vaccine damages act (rather than you being able to take legal action) from the gov website.

I do too, however if you think of the gig business for example - i would imagine most of their business come from under 50s. They aren’t going to exclude most of their customer base, so I think if that does get put in place it will only be once a full roll out has happened and exclusions would therefore only effect those refusing rather than those who can’t access it yet (if at all).
