I’m office based and word is that anyone who can will be working from home for at least the next 6 months. This pleases me, but just doesn’t match up with everything else I am reading about schools returning, pubs etc. reopening within the next few weeks!

Been feeling a bit glum these past few days, I spoke to my boss and turns out I'm going to be furloughed for a bit longer. She said she hopes it won't be too long but there isn't enough kids coming back to nursery to bring everyone back, it's totally understandable but I was looking forward to getting some sort of normality back.
We also had a message from school yesterday that said they are not letting reception children back to school as they don't have the staff and because under 5's cannot be tested, year 1 and year 6 will be split into bubbles with children going in on either Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday.

My dad has been confirmed to be working from home until September at the earliest

I’m civil service (office based) and they’re currently removing desks and marking the floors out. No word yet on when we’re returning but it seems to be before social distancing will stop.

Just got a phone call to say my routine operation will be going ahead in the next few months, I've got to self isolate for 2 weeks though before it. Husband is gonna have a fit having to fend for himself for the first time in 20 years 😂 fun times.

Under 5s can be tested now however

I was about to comment about this as Cummings said his son was tested. When was this changed? Was it before or after his son was tested?
Under 5’s have always been tested if they end up in hospital though, which I believe his son did? Not sticking up for him.
