Definitely beginning to feel the effects of daily anxiety, worry, home learning, caring for children, hearing the awful death numbers, missing family, stress over husband leaving the house to work every day, anticipating the virus hitting our house, worrying about health. Had a 3 day long migraine. My kids are really finding it hard now and there is no end in sight. What has happened to the world it's all so surreal. What an uncertain future we all face. For how long will corona determine how we live our lives. Today feels like a hard day ☹

Same here. I just feel overwhelmingly sad today. I have mental health issues anyway, but I've learnt how to manage them, this is has taken away my tools (mainly getting out into big open natural spaces for a walk and my job)

I totally get everyone’s individual situation is different but I’m not gonna pretend I haven’t had thoughts about what lockdown would be like with no kids and it seems.... nice.
It is wonderful. I am childfree by choice and this situation has confirmed my decision. Even our friends with well behaved kids say they are frazzled, miserable and nostalgic for childless times.

My husband is wfh and gets to do it in peace. I got laid off.

My day
- get up around 7 am
- have a coffee
- exercise for an hour
- shower and have breakfast
- walk the dog
- video call my parents
- eat lunch with husband
- watch something on netflix, read, housework, tattle
- start cooking dinner
- eat with husband
- self care
- bed

Someone said it seems dull and they'd rather have kids but it's perfect for me. I am an introvert and honestly couldn't imagine anything worse than having a kid around 24/7. At least my dog, I can close in a room if he's annoying me and he doesn't talk back or cry 😂

It won't work for everyone but my friends who are both having to work at home with the kids are doing it half a day each so one works from 7-1 upstairs while the other has the kids downstairs then they swap other works 1-6.30.

Knackering whatever people are having to do xx

I read the article about this lady when she first tested positive. So heartbreaking to see that she didn’t make it. 😔
So sad. Medical staff are exposed way more to the virus than the public are too so they'll have to fight it harder.

Ha I would love that schedule right now 😂

I'm having a day of feeling like I would really love some personal space !! Kids currently on screens and I am hiding with a cup of tea and a Yorkie (not for girls !)

My girls 8 and 4 are really missing their nanny and grandad, I’m finding FaceTime is making it harder for the eldest. They’ve gone from seeing them everyday to not seeing them now for weeks.

I think what’s making it harder for them mostly is both neighbours either side of us are continually breaking the rules. One neighbour her grandkids and son are round again have climbed the fence to go round there. And the other neighbour has been going in and out all day to her parents house so her children can see their grandparents.

My girls literally think it’s because I don’t want them to see them.
Eldest broke her heart last night she’s not sleeping well at all... next door heard her crying and slammed the window closed!

Must admit I’m nostalgic for child free times... but then my anxiety would probably go into overdrive so least I’m so busy I can’t overthink everything
