It feels like a lock down Christmas in incoming!
Hmm I know it’s not what you want to hear but I think a full lockdown is quite unlikely this side of Christmas considering everything is currently fully open and we have no restrictions on socialising at all in England. A household limit is more likely, or restrictions on indoor gatherings after Christmas.

They’ll do this song and dance every year… get used to it. Permanent winter lockdowns.
They’ll never stop testing non clinically ill people. Easy way to keep this going forever.
When’s the economic collapse?

My dad was 75 a few weeks ago. I bought him tickets for a theatre show and we were both excited to have dad/daughter day. Reckon it'll be postponed or cancelled now.

Glad that schools will stay open - everyone always argues LD2 wasn’t a real lockdown because schools were open, so I guess that means this wouldn’t be either 🤪

Lockdown is coming!!!
Not really though… schools, retail, gyms and personal care would all be open. It’s not exactly a lockdown.

I hope they don't decide this.

Forcing hospitality into serving outdoors only in January is not even an option for many really. They know fine well, lots will just opt to stay closed. I don't know about England, but in NI the rules around "outdoor dining" were complicated and businesses jumped through hoops to try and get set up only to be told they couldn't open, their outdoor areas were not suitable etc.

No mixing indoors? I find it hard to believe as many people would comply with that this time.
