How is vaccinating everyone for Covid more important than cancer treatments/surgery? I just can’t cope with where the world is going anymore.

I’m pregnant and have decided not to have what will now be two booster jabs before my baby is even born. I don’t trust them and would rather take my chances.

We're being thrown under the bus so this w*nker can keep his bad behaviour off the front pages. Despicable!

They've changed the record so many times on restrictions and vaccines that I simply cannot trust them now. Life didn't return to normal after the first two so why should I get another? They'll change it again, guaranteed.

I honestly dont think I will have a booster. If the vaccines are so good and so needed why need a booster? I get this variant is supposed to be faster spreading but still.
I wish we were all just left to go back to normal and do as we choose. I wear a mask now and try to keep a distance where possible (I was at work sunday and the security was doing tanoy announcements that masks are now mandatory and was going around the store questioning customers who werent wearing a mask and handing them disposables. I didnt like that approach one bit, so many customers were flustered and just took the offered masks and grumbled)

To be honest I’m just relived I haven’t wasted my evening ironing this weeks school uniform for him to close the schools 😂

This is fairly minor in the scheme of things but still the start of this my GP refused to see people for contraception so they prescribed the pill which I reacted badly too. After complaining they prescribed a DIY contraceptive injection which was generally quite horrific the idea of injecting myself. They’ve only fairly recently started doing it for me again but I can’t face going back to doing it myself or the alternative of the pill again.

My mum and I have had our booster jabs but my dad and 2 of my younger siblings have decided against it. No one should come for you because it's your decision entirely. I won't be getting further covid jabs if they ask us to. 3 is enough for me.

Exactly. Numbers are increasing at a worrying rate and the booster is the best way to protect us and keep numbers down.

My brother's partner is a nurse. I feel for her knowing how much pressure she and her colleagues are going to be under. I hope that pressure can be reduced as much as is possible.

I also feel like until we start offering some of our vaccines to other countries this is never going away…god knows where omicron originated but when populations are only partly vaccinated it surely is gonna drive the mutations that avoid the vaccine? You’ve got enough of the population unvaccinated to spread it and enough vaccinated for the mutations that avoid it to take ahold

Not a vaccine specialist so may be totally wrong but that’s my take 🤷‍♀️
