In fairness Charity has had every pregnancy going. A grape one, ectopic, pregnant by her cousin, surrogate (or so we thought). I'm sure there are a few more - I'm not a big Emmerdale fan so drop in now and then. She probably had a miscarriage and twin pregnancy somewhere along the line.

They both must have a comedian who sends in the one liner because the others writers can't be doing them then writing the dross they others are speaking.

I think she said at one point that he looked familiar. Though, seeing as she knew him from seeing the name, surely she would have clocked at some point in their interaction that she knew his face.
