The flashback showed Tyrone standing around outside the factory, looking at his phone, whilst taking a break from the wedding reception. Why couldn’t he have just said that’s what he was doing when he saw Summer and then Theo at the window?

Carl never even saw him when the car jack moved and the car fell on him. He also hadn’t reported it to the police so there was no pressure on Tyrone to lie

He’s made things worse for himself now as Carl saw how shifty Tyrone was in the pub and then him going off with Ronnie, Carl’s gone to have a nosey and overheard them talking about that night.

On the Izzy subject, the other day she was moaning about Gary being useless as the evening before he forgot he was meant to take Jake to the cinema or something, but in the previous episode (therefore what should be the day before but who actually knows with Corrie timeliness these days...) Izzy was in the pub with a battered Sarah, and both Gary and Maria were sat at the bar. So:
A) why didn't Izzy say something to him then and
B) who was with Jake if they were all in the Rovers?

If you're gonna shoehorn Izzy into a scene just because she's still on the payroll, at least make it make sense lads.

I can't quite believe she's been in Corrie for 16 years. She's certainly not the most memorable character and I think most people forget she's still in it. I really don't see the point of her.

i know that this is quite a mean, non-PC, thing to say, but Izzy is clearly only kept on as a box-ticking exercise for representation.

She’s a horrendous actress and a pointless character.

Why was Bertie so happy at… Whoever‘s house that was where he stayed over when Daniel was blind drunk. He said with a smile “Dad wouldn’t wake up and the microwave blew up!” I mean he understandably ran out of Daniel’s house terrified. When did it turn into the best night of his life? Is he a little off?

If you lived with Daniel and he pawned you off on random women all the time, wouldn’t you be happy to escape and see family, leaving him possibly dead??
