They found her placenta! I'm pretty sure they can tell from that how far along she was etc.I do wonder if that's what they are going to do. Other than them pushing the buggy, it was hard to tell if a baby was there. For the miscarriage it would depend how far along she is, even if she claimed a still birth if that pregnancy was considered viable they would require a birth and death certificate it is still the concealment of a body.
It might have been at one of those food waste initiatives that anyone can go to.“Dropped in without appointment”
I thought you had to be referred to a food bank by someone in authority?!!
You do for the “big names” ie Trussel trust and their ilk but most local ones aren’t as strict because requiring that puts a lot of people in need off going.“Dropped in without appointment”

Too high at times, as has been seen in the pastWhat do you think should happen then? Parents that have been proven to be a danger to their children should be allowed to keep having kids?
The threshold for removal of children is high.
I agree for social care to remove a child they need so much evidence hence why they are continued serious case reviews because they were unable to mitigate the risk to the childToo high at times, as has been seen in the past
Yes there were pictures of the caravan in some of the newspapers yesterday.Just a little bit of info. My friend lives in the road they were arrested and local chit chat is saying they were ‘living’ on the allotment in a caravan. He doesn’t know who the caravan belongs to but that it has been there been for a long time. He doesn’t have any knowledge of the baby.
Depends on the food bank. There’s one near me run by a church - they’ve set up like a shop and anyone can just walk in and take what they need (there’s even an honesty box in case someone who can afford food has forgotten eggs or something)“Dropped in without appointment”

I don't doubt this was a silent approach in the first instance. They're a massive flight riskThinking about it more, why did the police go in all guns blazing to arrest them? Surely it would have made more sense to have not attended with the blues and twos and observed from a short distance where they were going etc.
I assume the police maybe thought that baby was with them. surely the person who called in would have said their was no baby and it was just the two missing adults so it would have made sense to approach with caution? Unless their is just a lot the police know that isn’t being released to the press
In my local area, you can just go into a food bank especially if its a church and ask for help it is a lengthy process though and you have to share alot of details about your situation.“Dropped in without appointment”

It’s highly likely she’s living with PTSD after the experiences with the cult. Whatever has happened since will compound and complicate that further. If they are no commenting interviews the baby has surely passedno lawyer would be able to work with them surely if they knew where a live abandoned five week old was and refused to say.
I find it unbelievable that they were using foodbanks whether the baby was alive or not because it's a huge risk of being caught surely. But I think the thing is they are clearly not all there mentally/ not thinking at all rationally so we just can't apply usual laws of reasoning to their actions.
The stuff I posted a while ago about Constance's mental breaks after her experience with the cult shows just how loose her grip on reality has been for years now and that was back when she had friends and was part of society. Her mental state will have got immeasurably worse over the past 7 years since isolating with Gordon to the extent that something like this has come to pass.
I know it sounds god awful and harsh, but I think they should be searching landfill. They were saying the area between the last sighting and Brighton was the focus in the press conference.
I also don’t think the poor baby is still alive, such a horrible story.
Probably today as its 36 hours.Do you think we'll get any updates?
To be fair they never found Corrie McKeague’s body when it was believed to have been in landfill and he was 200lbs. The chances of them finding an infant are very small.I know it sounds god awful and harsh, but I think they should be searching landfill.
You don’t just brush off the effects of coercive control in a day. She'll be provided with the bare minimum whilst in custody. She'll have been assessed by a doctor, possibly a midwife and have access to a legal professional. She will also have been assessed to ascertain if she is fit for interview, her human and legal rights will be respected but this is a serious matter, a baby is missing and she is responsible.
The press are spinning this as wealthy aristo and the dangerous man and I'm sure she has been adversely effected by experience and circumstances but failing to cooperate is concerning, she appears to have an issue with authority and has put her child at risk. There must have been many situations she could have spoken privately to people who could help, who, if coercion was a known factor would have offered solutions and help, she's now in a separate environment and no doubt the police are offering her lots of opportunities to speak.
