My point is that some, obviously motivated and able, prisoners, of any ethnicity, have manage to educate themselves to a high level and turn their life around, both in the UK and the US. Obviously they’re the exception, but well done to them.No, I don’t think I am. Mid 90s was not a good time to be black in a southern state.

ETA: Plus, he was released and deported when he was 34, what’s he done, as a British Citizen with access to adult education, to improve his lot since then?
