She must have really fallen off a cliff in 2016.
When I was just looking re. housing, I saw that she didn’t attend her brother’s wedding

---
So the house they were living in in 2020 was the house that they caused the damage to and were evicted from last August?
No I think they must be different, as it says they were evicted from the Ilford home, where they went next is unclear, then they were in Greenwich by August 2020.
Then the damage one was August 2022.

But to be honest I’m not sure!

Thank you for this timeline stuff it’s really interesting.

It’s been said before that for someone with such means to not pay rent on what must be relatively inexpensive properties indicates the level of chaos they must have been living in? Like a small terrace in Ilford or Eltham would be like £1.2k - £1.5k pcm tops, that is small change to someone in Constance’s position. Even if she paid upfront for a year it would be small change to her. It makes you think wtf was going on in those years to make her life SO unmanageable? Drugs are the obvious answer but as others have said, they both looked fairly well in themselves…

Im probably grasping at straws here because I dont know how trust funds work. But from what Ive read, CM's family were not overly keen on MG and had researched his background and made it all known to her. Is there any possibility that her family could have maybe cut her off from the trust fund because they felt she was not in her right mind and being used by MG and were protecting her assets. Is it even possible to do that and thats why she wasn't paying the rent and living the way she was.

And why was the rent not just paid by standing order like you’d expect it to be? Unless it’s dodgy landlords and cash, in which case I doubt they’d be going to court for eviction notices!

So was there a problem accessing her money, or was the bulk of the money safely in trust but she wasn’t keeping up the general life admin necessary (as would often happen with MH, or drugs, etc) to be making sure her day-to-day funds are accessible

This is what Im thinking, that there was a possibility she couldn't access her money for whatever reason. Was it confirmed by police that she definitly was withdrawing large sums of money prior to going on the run?

I don’t know how they work either, but if that was the case I doubt they’d have ‘reactivated’ it or whatever later, and the police said they had significant funds when they went on the run - and they must’ve done to afford those long taxi routes!

The police said she likely had around £15k cash when she first disappeared. But how long did it take her to get that? Say 3 months from finding out she’s pregnant and realising she wanted to flee?

I read that one of CM's friends said that she took MG to meet her parents and while they were there they asked for money. I'll see if I can find it, it was in a news article.

I’d imagine they’d have a family office who manage all their money/investments/other assets, but yeah fuck knows what happens if it all goes wrong?

Surely if you’re an adult and you’ve been gifted £x, unless there’s a power of attorney order placed you have control over and access to that £x?

If that money is held in a trust rather than an individual’s bank acct(s) it may be different though? A reason for using one is “when someone cannot handle their affairs because they’re incapacitated” - I’m not sure if that means you create one with that intention from the offset or if you can pull the plug out later down the line if something goes wrong?

£5k a month is pocket change to a trust fund kid though (but not to us mere mortals!) so that could well be her ‘allowance’ or something that she could access monthly (or we could be wildly speculating )

I can't find this bloody quote from her friend, I definitly read it last week. Maybe someone else will come across it. Maybe it was misinformation and has been removed I dont know.

I used to work in at a firm that handled large trusts. The law may have changed as this was years ago but basically you'd have a trust fund set up and the capital would tied up in investments etc and then the income would be transferred to beneficiaries. We used to have a lot of trusts where the income paid school fees etc, it wasnt physically handed over. So CM could have had some set up like that, where income was due to her monthly or quarterly for her living expenses but she wasn't keeping up with it. Or perhaps she hadn't asked the trustees to pay her rent, or could only access income at a certain age.
Off topic but I remember one where the beneficiaries couldn't access the capital until they were 50!

This is the first time I've seen anything in the press about Constance possibly having other children.

Regarding the Mark Gordon Facebook profile with 3000 friends, I think that profile belongs to a different Mark Gordon.

The guy looks different, and the name 'Mark Gordon' is not uncommon.

Then again, his sister is a friend. The account looks fake, so the photo could be fake, to tie in with the Rasta image?
I only wish I knew how a trust fund works

Not sure if I’m allowed to post this, but the face is pretty hidden. His sister is ranting about his innocence and has posted a photo of him when he was 13 too.
