Neither do I. I think it is very convenient for her that no cause of death can ever be found. I think she’s a natural-born liar and highly manipulative. Pretending to be an Irish traveller ffs? Warned not to abandon her baby on a ward but she did so anyway and then came back kicking off over it? I suspect the list of examples of her true character is endless and we will see more of it as the trial progresses. Same goes for that horrid piece of work she’s chosen to be with and procreate with over and over and over! They don’t deserve any sympathy here - sorry if that offends anyone.

Oh wow, that paints a different picture to what I’d imagined - so they were living a chaotic lifestyle before their first child was born, even.
They really are a pair of crackpots. I wonder if the trial will go into the Nigerian cult angle? That might go some way to explaining their desire to be off grid, avoid basic healthcare, live “naturalistic” etc.
Note that baby #1 and #4 are mentioned but not #2 and #3. Sounds like things had deteriorated massively if by #4 she’d skipped out on hospital and left the baby behind. Although tbh I’m surprised that the newborn wasn’t subject to care proceedings by that point anyway.
I’m still on lotus birth for the placenta. Especially if she was struggling for nutrition, she may have thought it would help the baby.
That bag looks like it is crammed full of stuff. Are they suggesting the baby was alive in there or no? It's so horrible knowing that now, like it was all happening before our eyes. 
Yeah I watched that. Marva had a really good chance and was fully supported to stay with her new baby and make a go of it but she chose to go back to him and blew it. The social worker was in tears over it. These women do exist unfortunately
The buggy wasn’t remotely developmentally appropriate for a baby of that age, a baby of under 3 months wouldn’t have been able to support their own head sitting up in it, they’d either need a bassinet attachment or a car seat style attachment. That looked more like a stroller?
So the baby logically must have died around the time they dumped the buggy?
but it could have laid flat for a newborn - I just did an Argos search, the cheapest buggy is £60 and says suitable from birth. It’s not great but significantly better than a lidl bag
Have they done an autopsy on the baby and given cause of death? Suffocation from being in the bag? Possible?
Fab research thank you for sharing, weird that he chose to keep it upright then?! As flat it would have been less clear whether or not a baby was in it, or possible to fake the appearance of a baby being in it. The fact it was set up like that makes me believe no baby was ever in it (this is fabrication/my opinion). From the initial read of timelines sounds as if that might be the case.
They were buying from Argos though, and you’re not going to get a newborn travel system from Argos. Also, cheap strollers are light and fold up small for convenience.
Although that doesn’t explain why they bought and discarded a stroller the same day.
They have been unable to confirm a cause of death. CM states that she fell asleep holding her, and when she woke the baby had died.
I know a couple of women who did this. One who did a full lotus birth and basically covered the placenta in salt and herbs and wrapped in it paper then a bag whilst leaving it attached to the umbilical cord with her baby on the other end. Yes she is mildly bonkers and thinks everything can be treated with homeopathy. Arguably a lie flat pushchair would be preferable for a newborn than an infant carrier car seat for long periods of time.

I did an Argos search for that too, you can actually get a travel system suitable for newborn including car seat for £160 from Argos, although I guess it depends on the store as to how quickly you can get it - my store says order now and collect from 9am tomorrow. Depends if you want to just walk in and take it straight away.
