Thanks
@Lisdiz, I guess I'm a bit over sensitive at the moment, yes my son is autistic, we were doing a family activity (his choice) that was supposed to be fun, but let's just say turned into a bit of a disaster.
Anyway it's over now, it seemed worse at the time, and I could have handled things better.
I think because he's recently changed to a special school (which he's happier at) he's working hard and getting tired, so when he comes home, it's a bit like well now I want to do what I want.
He's also becoming a teenager, so it's that as well, yeah it's an interesting time..
Sorry that your son is feeling a bit unsettled, do you think maybe he's a bit of an empath and has a feeling for things?
My other son (also autistic) is a bit like that, and often had premonitions or pyschic feelings, and understood what he couldn't really express verbally.
Also felt the pain of others, I remember when he was little he often used to come close to his dad, and stroke his head and say don't worry dad you'll get better.
This is when he was 2 and had only just started to speak, and we hadn't told him that his dad was ill (he had cancer at that time, which he's since made a full recovery from thank god) yet he sensed the severity of the illness, and actually tried to heal it.
This from a 2 year old, children have amazing potential don't they, they are an inspiration sometimes.
Wish my family hadn't been a bit of a battleground today, but then I also need to toughen up a bit, conflict is part of life, it's how you handle it that matters isn't it?
Maybe I need to pay more attention to that, than to outside conflicts, driven by a cabal of evil politicians?
It's my Achilles heel I guess, my father in law was a local big shot, in the Albanian communist party, and my mother is a civil servant who works for parliament, so I grew up around politics and am both fascinated and repelled by them, but then you forget to focus on yourself, (or you do if you're me!)
watching others, but not watching myself, but then life is not a spectator sport is it?
Anyway I'm waffling now, so I'll quit while I'm ahead,
Take care
love to you and your family, and thanks for your lovely post.
