Well said….this Maldives freebie is a step too far for me…portraying a totally unachievable lifestyle for a lot of folks in this current climate….just seen Kerri arriving there now too…how out of touch are these companies giving these holidays to these guys who have had numerous jolly’s within the past year alone….

Worrying and upset because I won’t get everything I want immediately. You will get what you want, Katie, but you will just need to prioritise what you spend your earth nuggets on - like the rest of us. Once you accept that and take control of what happens - rather than allowing the outcome to be dictated by third parties whom you can’t control when or what they will gift you - you will sleep a lot better

Been to Devon for weeks on end
Been to the Maldives
Been to Morocco
Mini break in the lakes
Skiing
Gifted restaurant meals at Harvey Nics and the Ivy
Free luxury food
Free luxury beauty products.

And yet she’s still complaining.

What on earth would it take for her to show some gratitude?

So out of touch crying over the cost of renovation when we all could of told her it was going to cost a fortune. She spent far to much of the holiday home which was money that should have gone into the property they live in not a place that could be trashed by renters who don't give a tit about your dream holiday home. Many hard working people are awake at night because they cannot pay the basic bills. They have not had a holiday this year, and can’t afford basic house repairs
They are working hard doing long hours in all sorts of jobs trying to survive.

They are not :
Going on multiple luxury holidays
Owning multiple properties
Being gifted luxury items left right and centre

She needs to check her bloody privilege and have a little bit of gratitude.

I just don’t know how someone who went on a heavily discounted trip to the Maldives LAST WEEK can plead poverty. And have tens of comments lapping it up

Do what everyone else does when they move into a new home, focus on making just one room, be that bedroom, living room etc, how you want it. Why she didn’t spend that holiday money making a clean and cosy living room that all her family could enjoy in the run up to Christmas? It would make all the difference.

Must be so annoying for the kids, going from a lovely house to that place, just because the parents want more more more.
