I will never understand why anyone would want to film the birth. I couldn't think of anything worse and if god forbid something went wrong imagine being reminded of that. I've had friends go into complications and nearly die during labour can't for a second believe they'd want that reminder its just icky to me. No offense if anyone here had their babies births recorded I just feel like it's something that doesn't need to be filmed or publicised and think it's super weird that they'd want to monetise of that

Imagine carrying someone else's child then having to play mum. It's not genetically yours, not related to your own kids and knowing deep down you are on the outside looking in.

Now imagine someone carrying your child and you are wanting to be it's mum but someone else is also trying to be mum. You want to make decisions but so do they and they are different to yours.

Now imagine your child wanting, crying for, seeking help from the non biological mum and not you.
Now that is going to cause jealousy and friction!

Abbie is just a glorified surrogate and step mum when you think of how this will play out.

I totally agree with this. I feel for the midwives, imagine trying to do your job and you have these two bampots worrying about getting the best angle. Maybe worry less Cole about watching back your own reaction and support your wife during the birth?
If someone tried to record me giving birth I would shove their camera where the sun don’t shine.

And I agree, birth should be a private thing, not a spectator sport.

Was there not a big thing about not making kids hug and kiss people even family if they were uncomfortable. No adult should be commanding kids to hug anyone. If that wee girl wanted to she would've approached her instead her "mum" and I use that term loosely commanded her to. Those kids can't get near their mum the woman who birthed them for her wee klingon there. Sad because abbie is missing the best years of kids lifes. Yes there was, I find it very uncomfortable when I see children being told to hug and kiss People. I’ve never forced my nephews and nieces. My nephew is very affectionate by nature.

SPD is a debilitating condition that only gets worse as baby gets bigger
She may well have been uncomfortable and heard someone mention SPD, and immediately thought that sounded like a good thing to pretend to have for sympathy.
No way does she have it now, or has ever had actual SPD

People saying she looks like she’s going to pop and they think the baby will be soon them agreeing almost excited about it. This is still very early for a baby and some of their comments about it come across almost hopeful. Doesn’t sit right at all

Agreed.
No one with any brains should be even vaguely excited about delivering a baby before 36 weeks.
It’s pretty sick to be excited about it to be honest.
This baby is a commodity to them.
They’ve been told he’ll be big, though a 10lb is not unusual, I’ve seen many, therefore they are planning on delivering early!?
Having a 10lb baby is absolutely no reason to deliver early. None at all. It’s unprofessional and downright dangerous to even suggest it.
So I guess they’ve pinned their hopes on 36 weeks, so anything from now leading up to that is just a bonus to them I guess.
