How bloody sneaky. I can’t stand it when influencers can’t just be honest declare something as an ad and/or gifted, it’s really misleading I think. Mostly because if something says ad I’ll take whatever is said with a pinch of salt (especially with these pair) because they’re getting paid to say how amazing it is!

Definitely against regulations, all videos should have declared ad if sponsored. If you report the videos that don’t have ad to the ASA they will make them take them down. You might be thinking oh well that’s not much, but they lose revenue and also show their incompetence to the brands they have partnered with.

I think a lot of the brands are part of it. There’s a woman on TikTok who works in influencer marketing and she said that more of the brands are asking them to advertise without declaring it and paying more for that.
