3.5K including tooth removal, bonding, metal wire retainers top and bottom and 3 sets of Vivera retainers. Tooth whitening was also included in this price but I didn't have that done.
Mine was quite a complicated case and I had been quoted nearly 6K by somewhere else, just for the alignment process without the extras, so it's worth getting more than one quote.
Useful to know thanks everyone, seem like my dentist is expensive, mine would be a very simple fix apparently but it seemed like it was £5k flat rate no matter what you need doing. Will shop around, but would have preferred to go with my own dentist if I could! Doesn't seem like the sort of thing you can negotiate?
definitely price around as mine wasn’t a complex case and was £1850
I think mine is 3.5k too including unlimited refinements and whitening (although you have to do it yourself at home - they definitely made it sound like they'd do it!).
I have an appointment on Monday to review my bottom aligners and presumably get rescanned for my bottom retainers. Following my previous long winded post on here I'm worried they're going to try to make me pay again - going to have to be prepared to stand up for myself as I did say I wasn't happy with them and was told the remaining issues couldn't be fixed with invisalign. Amazing how the other ortho there managed to fix the problems with just 5 trays!

I’m having invisalign in a couple of weeks, it’s costing me £2800, for 14 aligners. I also get 2 rounds of refinements if I need it. It’ll take me about 6-8 months, including whitening that they do for me. I live in an expensive area and this was probably the cheapest I found, with the best possible dentist. They also keep giving me free toothpaste 
Mine was relatively simple and took about 10 months I think. Cost about £2000
My whitening stuff is still in my fridge. I daren't attempt it as two of my teeth are not real (bridge and a very old veneer). They did give me instructions on how to lift the natural teeth just enough that there wouldn't be a colour difference but I won't risk it. The images of how it could go hideously wrong in my head are bad enough. I have no desire for that to become a glaring reality
. I hope you aren't asked to pay anything. This process can be hard enough without the stress of extra money if it doesn't go to plan.
Mine has quoted 4.5k I thought it seemed quite a lot but maybe as I'm a moderate/severe case! Did not think my teeth were that bad but there you go
I have quite a big overjet of 1cm - do you think Invisalign would work for me? My dentist didn’t seem to think it would be able to do much for it, but the Invisalign website suggests they do treat overjets

I had an overbite (which I actually didn’t realize until my dentist told me about it) and fixed it with invisalign. . I don’t think mine was that big tbh, but invisalign can defo be used to fix overbites. I’d trust whatever your dentist is saying though, everyone is different and perhaps in your particular case something else would work better for your terth.thank you! What are 6 month smiles? Yes proper braces but clear - a bit more noticeable than Invisalign but not too bad and they are cheaper. I’m having them fitted next month top and bottom for £2.5k
I'm having the fixed wire afterwards as my dentist said he always recommends it initially. I've asked about cleaning my teeth and he said as long as I go for my check ups & hygienist appointments twice yearly then it shouldn't cause any problems.Are you all having a permanent wire fixing afterwards? My orthodontist said he doesn’t do them because it makes cleaning between the teeth difficult. But everyone I’ve ever known has one
I know a few people who have had them fitted and they have all said it hasn't caused any problems with cleaning their teeth.

I've just had mine fitted. I can still use the interdental brushes. The wire only covers the front six teeth so flossing is still possible for the other teeth. I was also told I'd still need to wear my retainers at night forever though.Are you all having a permanent wire fixing afterwards? but then said I’ll still need a retainer for top and bottom anyway
