This is just trying to get a dig a comment like this. The original comment was about the song Penny arcade which is not a sectarian song. I don’t really think trying to get a dig about being a rangers fan has anything to do with this thread. You are clearly a Celtic fan trying to get a dig in.

What is sectarian about it? It's a song about an amusement arcade that's been covered by all kinds of folk and country singers

The are many songs that football fans have changed the words to. That doesn’t mean that anyone who then listens to the original song is being sectarian.

Please, if your suggesting that all rangers fans are supporters of anyone who is against catholic’s and glorify murder then your obviously one of them from the other side. To suggest that Derek is singing a song because it’s about a murder is ridiculous. He’s too thick to realise what he says on a daily basis, never mind a song that’s been sung by fans for years! And Celtic fans are just as bad singing sectarian songs and hating rangers fans. Get a grip

These comments are clearly by Celtic fans trying to get a dig in. So going by these same rules does that mean that all Celtic fans support the ira as plenty of fans sing songs about the ira wave flags about them. And the way the Celtic fans behaved last night does that represent the way all fans behave?? It goes both ways it’s a small group of people who sign these songs and behave in this way. You can’t then mud sling and say every fan of that football team supports these things and things like the uda no one even ares it’s not the 80s. The song is not a sectarian song did anyone hear and alternate lyrics being sang to this song. No I don’t think so. I’m not a fan of there but to accuse them of being sectarian is just pure mud slinging.

I really have no idea where that notion ever came from. It was adopted as a song for the club due to ibrox being built on the grounds of an old arcade.
There is nothing whatsoever in that song that is or could be construed as sectarian. Theres nothing to do with murder in the words! Have you actually listened to the song? Roy orbison wrote it, he wasnt known for his sectarian catholic murdering tendencies! Lol

My godson plays for rangers and I can assure you he is not sectarian and neither are any of his family members
People really need to stop listening to rumours and spreading them and actually start researching facts for themselves
