There has been a few people on these threads who come across as judgemental about council homes etc..Who said Council tenants are scum?
You donโt get it for Free being a tenant either, the rent/council tax includes service charges, water ( some H/A,s) and all the repairs. Ask for a break down of your rent.

No one's been judgemental about council homes, we've been judgemental of Melvin going on about his flat like he's living in a 50 room mansion, rather than a pokey one bedroom flat. My house is shared ownership with the housing association (was the council when I bought it though) so no snobbery here.
Anyway back to our Melvin, who thinks after he got onto the council he screamed down the phone "DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM? I AM FAYMOOOOUSE ON INSTAGRAM! I KNOW SOPHIE HINCH!"

He seems to think his rat problem will disappear with a snap of his fingers . We had rats in the roof last year and so did some neighbours that live near us . It took months to get rid of them . Heโs going to be moaning about it for months

Exactly! And if there's a poison put down for them they are going to die and need removing. At some point there is going to be a pretty horrendous stink from the decaying bodies.
