I don’t understand the Grinch as a theme for Christmas
Thank you someone else agrees, it’s not a nice character it’s about someone that is lonely, miserable, non sociable and a bully that’s steals Christmas, jealous of other people success and happiness. Don’t get why people use it a Christmas theme is bizarre and doesn’t look “cosy and Christmassy” it’s ugly.

Now when he first mentioned Grinch, given we know he reads Tattle and a certain IG account alluded to him having nicknames for Hinch, and we know at times he has been aware of exactly what that 'friendship' actually is, I was waiting for the Grinch theme to actually be based on their fake friendship. However Mario is embracing his miserable, lonely self. He sucks the joy out of everything and everyone else most of the year round, and I'd include rushing to decorate for Xmas in that too. His 'love' of Xmas is no such thing. It's desperation for content. It's the exact thing the Grinch was written about regarding the over-commercialisation of Xmas but he's not smart enough to realise that. It's an excuse to feed his need to shop because he is lonely/miserable/jealous of the lives others' portray on "that app".
The Grinch is perfect for him!

Just saw the cardboard Grinch door wreath thing, I think he’s lost it. Instead of getting better each year it’s just got tackier and tackier. I don’t get it, it’s so cringe

Why has he asked strangers thoughts? Some will give their “thoughts” and if any say don’t like grinch or prefer traditional Christmas decorations they will be called trolls, haters and jealous weirdos and sent to the v.i.p block list. What’s the point in asking thoughts?
