It made me giggle too, it was so cute, it was almost as if you could actually hear them saying "ouch!"So cute
Shouldn’t have laughed so much at them testing out the electric fencing, but it was there little noises afterwards![]()

There's also lots of editing involved for drama/entertainment. Was all that clearing up really happening as people were queuing waiting to get in? Or was it actually separate days? Please remember that what you see is so heavily edited for TV, and also that you don’t know what Clarkson and his team asked for. The pub staff probably did want to delay opening, do a soft launch etc but often when the gaffer sets their mind to something they won’t change it, and they won’t listen to you if you warn them why it’s a bad idea.
I’ve seen it so many times: CEO’s or big bosses setting ridiculous arbitrary deadlines for things and then yelling when everything goes wrong because it was rushed or under tested.
So happy they won. Yes his trousers were falling downVery pleased Clarkson's Farm won at the NTA's. Clarkson looks like he's lost a ton of weight.
Aah right sounds like sour grapes on his part then. I must admit I’m a terrible person I laughed at the comment. No, they said he was a parking attendant I think and alluded to the fact it was his last day so I guessed he’d either been binned or left.
Did people hear what a customer said to the woman behind the butcher counter? So rude.
The nimby local will just have decided he hates Clarkson, and think he is evil. The bit about developing over half the farm, that bit in the barristers report alone should've had it thrown out as a total joke and vendetta.I don't understand the objections. The amount of tourism he must be bringing to the area. People don't travel hours to just go to the farm and then go home. We are looking at going down the area and will go to Diddly Squat. We will stay in a hotel close by and visit the surrounding areas, surely this is good for the area.
It's no secret they have had to get other brewing companies around the UK involved to help meet production demands of all the various products in the range.Don't know why he even needs to advertise Hawkstone. It seems to be bloody everywhere now, I don't know whether their salesman specifically targetted Cambridgeshire but it's on tap in a couple of my local pubs, and has been for a couple of weeks, so not just one precious trial keg. If the same pattern of wide availability is repeated across the country, it can't possibly be a little husband and wife brewery making it for him, there has to be one of the big boys quietly doing the brewing and distribution for him.
Doesn't matter if it is good or bad, the number of people saying "oh they've got the Clarkson lager, I must try it", even if they only try one pint, his profit must be astronomical from it.
(Yes I did fall for it and had a pint, nothing special, went straight back to Peach Jubel for the rest of the night)
I'll bet my house that's going to happen. At least it will give him somewhere to sell his products without aggravating of the council. He obviously really wanted a restaurant so this solves that issue too.Hope he's going to do Clarkson's Pub next, with this pub he's bought, and show some of the challenges in the pub trade in the same way as he's brought insight to the challenges of farming.
And that's real. For so many farmers, that's why farmers have loved the series so much because of how authentic it was and showing real farming in a way that Countryfile never will.Yes and all that hard work and he only made £144 profit.![]()
It's why he's so cheerful, all that red tape, regulation and bollocks he has to deal with. And that is without having to deal with Jeremy. Can you imagine what Cheerful Charlie has to know? The rules and regulations are unbelievable. He seems to cover everything.
He literally giggled that he was leaving him out of it.I probably would have started the harvest without Jeremy if I were Kaleb, once he joined in he started wrecking things, making mistakes and getting so stressed it must have been much quicker and simpler doing it without him for a while. I like to think Kaleb knew Jeremy was stressed and busy at the pub and was trying to be helpful taking on the harvest by himself.
