Charlie is my favourite. Very funny and dry.

Convo whilst discussing the new bull ...

Clarkson: What if he's gay?
Charlie: Then we will love him all the same.

Charlie is brilliant. His facial expressions are masterpieces. His exasperation with Jeremy is worth every very expensive bill he will be sending to Jeremy.

I can't imagine what he has to know!! The programme really does emphasise how much paper work and legislation there is for just about everything related to farming.

Paperwork is the bane of farmers lives. Endless amounts. Hours and hours of time. And not all farmers will be able to afford their own Charlies to do the work for them.

*spoiler* -yet not specific

I just binged all of season 4 that was available so far. It has everything!! Drama, comedy, intrigue, plagues, pestilence and congealed large.
I sometimes forget how much I like his humour. And also, a hamster.

We went last autumn, I don’t remember it being a problem to book but it was mid week and the series wasn’t showing at that point.

The food is very good but the choice is extremely limited because they only do food supplied locally. You’re limited to an hour on the table which is quite punchy tbh but service is very efficient. It was nice but I probably wouldn’t go back.

I went to the farm shop in 2021, I have family in the area and thought I’d go and see what it was like. It was crazy busy but we didn’t have to queue. I did mange to get some Oxford Blue cheese which I loved as a 20 something but it got discontinued. I didn’t really bother buying anything else apart from some of the gin because farm shops are much of a muchness and I’d rather buy locally to where I live. It did make me laugh though, all these boy racers revving their Subarus presumably hoping that JC would come out and talk to them about cars.

We went to the farm shop the week before the first series was on and we were the only people there!

I want to know what’s going to happen to little Richard Ham 🐖. Hopefully he won’t grow big enough to be sent to market and will have a nice life on a petting farm or something ❤

Should sell him to Richard Hammond and then he will be the right size.

Is this the right place to admit my huge crush on Charlie?

I've admitted it to my husband who thinks I'm weird.

I hope Tattle will be more accepting.

Just catching the last couple of episodes of the series.

That pair of chancers who were supposed to be setting up the pub for Jeremy, what a useless pair of mats. Neither of them did anything other than spend huge sums of money. Neither of them thought to sort out pricing, left to Charlie at the last minute. They needed slapping and chucking out, never mind them threatening to kick Jeremy in the nuts. And frankly them walking out on opening weekend was the height of unprofessionalism.

I thought the chef was a bit of a head as well. Seemed to think his needs were the only ones that mattered.

Jeremy bit off too much trying to open so quickly, but those women didn't help anything.

Charlie is just a bleeping hero!
