Kaleb has been too big for his boots for a while now. Best thing JC can do is sack him and let him get on with being the media star he seems to want to be, or buy his own farm ,

The stropeyness was fine at first with Clarkson starting out but now it's like they all play a character. Clarkson must have some business acumen to have the ideas he does but it's all dumbed down for tv. Would be better if they move on to be more informative and intelligent content. It's just not evolved from the first series.

When the vet said ‘times up’ to the pig

I couldn’t believe that!! I know it’s a job to them so they do it all the time but crikey, it was a bit much

my eyes were streaming by the end of the episode I found it so sad!

Is there going to be another series or is this the last?

I want to see them finish the dam, see the goats come back and eat all the tough stuff / try to escape some more, laugh at Lisa trying to sell new things too cheap, and learn more about the musician bloke and his combination farming techniques. Also always got time for Clarkson failing to sow the field properly and seeing the results months later on! And more cute piggies of course.

A lot more of this series was obviously staged (or enhanced/amplified for the cameras) although some parts like the births (and deaths) of the cute piggies, Clarkson nearly vomiting when he took the mouldy tube off the mushroom fan etc, all seemed highly genuine.

Anyone bought any of the farm stuff from the Amazon Fresh high street shops? All seemed hideously overpriced when I saw it. Unsurprising I suppose.

There are some scenes that are straight from Top Gear tbh. Jeremy using a Henry to pick berries and Kaleb on the hovercraft but there's enough genuine drama and cuteness to make it very real. I'm sure Jeremy didn't suggest that a goat munch his gonads or a pig be sick in his pocket for laughs.

It was incredibly rude - but to be fair, she does look an awful lot like him, I wouldn't have been surprised if she'd been his younger sister. Standard customer service job though, some people are arseholes!

She did, but to say that to someone's face is shitty and rude. You're right though, so many people are just arseholes.

Is it just me who feels like they should have got a second opinion re the pig Baroness. The vet said it was pneumonia then a week later when no better said the piglets might be dead and they needed to induce labour. But actually they were all born alive but just too soon and underdeveloped. And then Baroness was still unwell anyway. I understand probably the outcome would have been the same and it’s easy to say in hindsight but there didn’t seem to be much in the way of investigation when you consider the £600 vet bill for the other poorly pig (although maybe they learnt to avoid that now!)

Anyway echo what everyone else has said here. Cheerful Charlie is my absolute favourite with Lisa a close second for how willing she is to get stuck in. Does she have farming in the blood?

The harvester Jeremy used for harvesting the nettles is something we've use at work as an emergency harvester, and let me tell you, what a bag of shite it is.

It's even from the same company Jeremy's came from.

Luca is Rachael Allens son. Very famous cookery family in Ireland

and as an Irish person I peed myself at the Yeah Yeah and the Yeah no stuff. Guilty!

It’s back! We watched the first episode of the latest series tonight. It’s as enjoyable as ever with some adorable sheeps.

Those Easy sheep were hilarious. Will watch episode 2 tomorrow.

I’d kinda gone off Kaleb a bit from the last series but you could see how much him missed Jeremy.

He teared up when Jeremy told them about the cancer too and later on when Jeremy came back, Kaleb said how much he’d missed him.

God who cares if he's bought a pub and doesn't know the trade, he's a millionaire he doesn't need to know the trade he can pay for people who do know the trade to help him.

I said the same - why didn't they do a few trials. Invite the cooperative so they can see where the end product is being used. Invite the TV team, maybe the local village /councillors /school staff. Anything to just iron out issues before the general public were unleashed on them.

Have to say though it all seems to have worked out in the end, lots of very positive reviews on the food and general experience.

I live in a farming area and all the farmers round here all drive big expensive range rovers.

I live in Rural Ireland. Its all Toyota Cruisers - ancient too but well maintained. Only horsey set pick LRs here.
