Who buys them is what I’d like to know? For 28k u could get a MYCH nicer ring…..
You could get real diamonds for 28K! At this point people are paying for marketing and the rent in powerscourt - She has done a great job in terms of branding so i think thats what sucks people in

I’ve enquired with Janice on a ring before and one of my inspo pics was a chupi ring, she did not have good things to say about the chupi business or rings. I think she may have worked for the company in its early days .

I know my friend when she was searching for her engagement ring a few jewellers told her to stay away from Chupi as the quality wasn't good.

The ring are so light and fragile. There’s no weight to them at all. A friend of a friend got one and my pal says it’s like a feather in her hand compared to her own ring.

I agree.
Mine hasn’t held up well at all, I’m so disappointed.

I think Chupi did Janice very dirty in her early days. I have a few pieces of Janice's work and it's outstanding in every way

They won't even go with the outfits she styled them with...

On another note she keeps going on about her funding but no concrete plans yet for

duck me her post on ironing was condescending. How she got from not ironing your clothes to feminism is a huge jump

And FYI if you can afford to spend 10/20k on a handbag you can afford to get your clothes pressed or dry cleaned on a weekly basis.

Also if you have 50 employees and youve to micromanage them it says more about you than the person who commented on the ironing

Does anyone follow Anousha? She is an influencer that started working for Chupi a while back and now she quit. I wonder what happened…

How do you know she quit? I would love to know!

There is such a high turnover of staff in her business!

Her Glassdoor page is eye-opening...

Shes always looking for jewellers/ goldsmiths so I'm assuming shes working them to the bone for tit pay.

It was the classic influencer does an Instagram Q&A, asks themselves questions and answers them to announce something about their life. Like it’s “organic” content 😂

She breadcrumbed some information and alluded to her putting herself first by making some decisions + separately said she was now self employed again = bye bye Chupi!

She hasn’t mention Chupi recently but she proud of her work there for sometime.

Could she wear the jewellery again or would it haunt her when people ask where it’s from 😩

Why is she moving from Powerscourt?
Maybe she can't justify the rent anymore? It's a huge space she took up in Powerscourt.

She also had a sale recently and she always said she'd never do that. I wonder with that and the tacky label change does she regret getting investors involved

she still has a sale, 20% off with a code. She harped on quite a bit about never having a sale, even when running her Black Friday promotions. Even with 20% off her jewellery is still hugely overpriced.
