I’m so excited for Christmas markets this year last year I was pregnant and avoided I don’t do well with people drinking when I can’t 🤣. My local one isn’t that great but Manchester is very close by and I love that one. Which Christmas market/s are your favourite?
We’re definitely doing Lincoln this year and maybe York. I wasn’t impressed with Manchester last time I went but it was a few years ago now!

The Manchester Christmas markets are my favourite, it was one of my favourite christmas traditions to go and get a mulled wine and have a wonder around. I've not been since the arena terrorist attack as I've been nervous of another attack, I need to get over it and visit this year. The only other Christmas markets I've been is the one in Chester, but its rubbish compared to the Manchester markets.

I like to watch Gimbal Walk and Let's Walk on You Tube so someone has walked round the place before I do, and the latter gives the history of the place.
I'm heading to Lincoln soon for a nostalgic day before a funeral. E.g. eating where we used to. Also haven't done the top of Lincoln much and was amazed at what I had missed after watching Gimbal.
I felt the same about Manchester but it may be because I don't know the best places so You Tube might help me with that.
I didn't like Edinburgh either but people tell me it is amazing.
I can still remember a picture in Edinburgh art gallery, though. I wanted that picture.....badly!!!! 😄😄

Is anyone opting for any of the ✨luxury✨ advent calendars this year?
I’m not sure probs not I’m always quite disappointed. My daughters requested the Mac one again so need to have a look for that this weekend. I usually order a barbie one for my 6yo last year she had a colour reveal one which was quite good but they look rubbish this year and she’s insisting on a smiggle one 😕.

Not luxury but my siblings and I had an advent calander as kids that my mum made by sewing patchwork number pockets on and it’s got santas, reindeers, presents etc sewed on it too. When we became adults she gave it to me for my kids so we fill the pockets with mini chocolates, usually put a Lindt bear in day 25. Love that I had it when I was a child and now my children do too 🥺

I love this! Things that involve time and effort are the most luxurious of them all imo! My LO is too young for calendars atm but I like the idea of a more ♻ option too, especially if it’s more memorable.
